So about those cuttings I was trying to root.

I took about 6 cuttings a few weeks back and attempted to clone in soil. 2 of the cuttings began rooting slightly so I let them go longer as I was told to let the root structure form stronger.

One of the cuttings has shown significant growth the other looks healthy. As I carefully took them out to transplant, 1/2 of the roots tore off.

I had just transplanted within the last hour. Will these survive being they lost 1/2 of their roots?

its really 50/50 its really up to the plant and how well the conditions are inside the grow room i had a plant rip out 75% of its roots and it grew to be my biggest plant so i think you should be ok if you just take care of your plant well

I have also done the same thing before and they grew up nice. I think you'll be fine. weed is pretty resiliant and can handle quite a bit! Good luck :blsmoke:

Hey thanks a lot! I assumed it would be fine but wanted some sort of peace of mind.

I clip the taproot when I transplant to promote feeder roots anyway, so unless you were brutally ruthless when you had your incident, you may have done yourself an accidental favor. Not much use for the taproot indoors once it's reached the bottom of your container.
