ok so i followed the step by step directions i have found over the net for iso hash...however i may have made a mistake by grinding my trim in the blender (even though the directions said to)...

i used 2 coffee filters stacked together (paper filters...not reusable ones) to filter out the trim and leave nothing but iso and the extract on the plate...only issue is some of the trim (which had a powder like feel to it) has extracted itself through the filter into the plate...(i didnt notice while it was filtering...only afterwards when the iso began evaporating)...

is this hash still useful or did i just waste all that trim? does it matter if there is some powdery like trim left? im not sure how it passed through the filter (even though it was finely ground up).

someone clarify for me please & thank you.

note: the trim that made it through isnt a ton (ie it doesnt cover the entire plate or anything) i'd say the powder takes up 1/4 of the plate at best...should i just not scrape that out and scrape the rest or toss it all out? scrape it all? etc. let me know.

possibly...but its a black looking powdery substance...im not at home to actually see for myself (i had my gf explain what it looked like)...she said it looks like black powder...so i assume the plant material came through...is it safe 2 use?
