The false part is the flowering early gives you a higher rate of females. You can't just make a statement like that without some emperical evidence supporting it and expect me to stomach that bullshit. No Sale Mr.

time and space are the issues here dr chron chron my friend.

and some people don't care about the yield, or the ratio of effort to yield.. they just want some homegrown bud.

Ehh touche. Yet thats why you plant multilple plants that yeild 2 zips, yeilding as many godamn zips as you want, at a faster pace.

is it just me or is the seach engine for this site fucked, nothing i type comes up. I know there was a source on here somewhere, explaing the "Dutch method" which is where i fist learned this fact. Ill keep my eyes open though, im not done with you yet.

i went 12/12 from seed and my plants are fine (from seed they will just take forever longer then doing it the right way and could possibly mess up potency (happened to one of my plants) and stunned growth a little bit too but it's ok i'm in day 4 flowering now and they are doing great but it's best to have it on 24/0 from seed, 18/6 for veg, 12/12 flowering. i used miracle grow (a lot of people say don't use it but it's working fine for me) but best of luck to you and your plants keep me updated i'm interested in seein how your plants do if this is what ou deside

So where is the proof that 12-12 from seed dutch method works? It is just some people talking about it.

It can be done.....I did one and only ended up with a 8th.....From my own experiences, Vegging 2-3 weeks prior to flower will increase yield by 60% from doing just 12/12 from seed....Cool experiement but I'd rather do a short veg then flower....

well then let me be proof look at my main pic (that's my plant on 12/12) i changed it about a week ago and even though dutch method works the right way is still better i have the lighting on 12/12 again but starting i had 12/12 then 2 weeks ago i changed it to 18/6 then 4 or 5 days ago i changed it back to 12/12

idk if it provides more females i started with 5 plants and 3 were female 2 were males i got rid of the males and one of my ladies died thanks to experimenting she did her job but no i don't think it really works on growing more females (females and males is in the DNA)

agreed i Dont think the lighting has anything to do with sex except stress hermies...

u guys act like the plant is prone to be male...There is no special way of getting females unless its feminized which is a toss up with being hermie... Just do more than 1 plant and u'll probably end up with a few females.

yeah that's what i did and i still have like 20 seeds left haha (gunna hopefully try them all) (besides males) haha

yeah but mine aren't hermies... the reason i like this method though is cuz it pre-flowers and shows the sex

ive grown ice from marijuana-seed.nl with no veg time, no LST, straight 12/12 from seed. 6 of them, a little over a foot tall, .70 ounce per, 600w HPS, expert potting soil, 5 sq ft. they were exactly the same buzz and taste that my outdoor ones were. and the ones out side were 5 foot. 12/12 from seed wont change the strength of of strain or taste. and if you think so you simply have no experience with this method, period. hell i have 5 foot of head room in my cab and i still do 12/12 from seed with LST,im growing more plants now. there are alot of good things that can come out with 12/12 from seed, everything takes pratice. with a 600w hps and nice peat based mix in a soil less bed with LST and some good organic feed, you could probably pull an ounce per plant. if you dont belive me ask atmosphere. hes the one that started " 12/12 a different way to grow" a very informative thread when it comes to 12/12 from seed. if hes not here he is at international cannagraphic mag. hes the one that inspired me to change to 12/12 from seed. its easier to get a gram per watt once you've dialed everything in correctly. but everyone is going to have their two cents. the best for 12/12 from seed imo is 50-50 indi-sativa with LST and grandmas mollasses, grandmas a nice lady and her mollasses at 1tps per gallon helps with a nice and healthy garden, helps with stress too. peace. oh yeah dont use an autoflowering strain for 12/12 from seed. if your gonna do the autoflower strain use 18/6 the whole way through the plants life. it will automaticlly stay short. hense the word "auto" on 12/12 your gonna end up with a very small plant.

hi people my 2 cents are that I met a guy in Tacoma that showed me his garden that was all 12/12 from seed....it was huge, he gave me a hand full of fem seeds of a strain he called SWAMP BUD but I have never found any other info on this herb.....as soon as the seeds popped out of the dirt I put them in 12/12 and it took two weeks to start to stretch up and out...it went strait up and I got 5 ozers off of it. He showed me this web site and I joined RIU , he was the winner of the bud of the month with a 4oz bud that he grew 12/12 seed in a coffee cup sized pot....JUMBOSWISHER was his name on here back in the day....I always have a few going in my flower room all the time. I am doing 3 white rino 12/12 from seed. The rest of my script is clones flowering in fearless garden 2ft x 4ft air tables. I just got the tables a week ago so here goes something new.
