So is this a do-able DWC setup?

I been through numerous threads and a lot of tubing seems to be varied and this and that... was wondering just how simple this stuff really is... I seen pics when the water's right up to the net pot and some not and... help! lol.

yep it works great. i like a 48 inch bubble wand that can be bent and shaped to bubble all areas of your dwc equally. i have a 6 inch bubble stone in that same dwc system too just for extra oxygen

Do you have a grow journal?

Building a DWC is simple as putting your socks on. But is does have its pros and cons. Your roots can get tangled making males hard to take out, or moving plants around. And the rez can be difficult when it comes to changing the water out. That is why I am switching to drip or ebb and flow, but noone here is answering any of my fucking questions so i dont know about that one. hehe

Well I plan on putting in drainage and prolly working off clones if I can so hopefully I won't have to worry about junk.

na. i wish but i just don't have the time too right now.

the roots can get tangled but you just have to be careful. when i change the res water, i lift the top off (10 x 3inch net pots) and i set it about 40 inches high on a pvc stand i made. i take the outdoor hose in "mist" mode and get on my knees and spray all the roots really good to try to rid them of all aquired salts. i also soak the leaves really good and let them dry while i scrub the res and prep the water. its really cool to let the roots hang there and get a fish-eye-view of the root systems.

hydroponics is truely amazing!
