So it has been in flower for quite some time now, not sure when to chop

Well yea when taking off anything that isn't receiving light it will stunt the growth, along with supercropping i supercropped it 3 times lol you're probably right on that I should have left some of the lower leaves but they wouldn't have been getting much light anyway and the buds themselves are looking pretty nice at least, thanks for the feedback next time I'll leave the lower leaves on until they completely fall off on their own, the top of the plant is pointed downward as you can see in the picture. I wonder if that is why some of the leaves are dying. I'm going to give it one last nutrient water today

Id let it go 2 more weeks. In all honesty 'those look very airy, almost how a Haze hybrid bud would look at finish.

Id lower temps, let it go 2 More. , don't feed it anything else

I just gave it one last nutrient watering, will only give water from here on out, some buds look bit airy yea hopefully they dense up in the final weeks and plump up, blue dream I grew few years ago plumped up a lot during final weeks for some reason

I think the nutrient watering was a good idea. We don't know much about your whole grow process, BUT those leaves to my young grow eyes are in dire need of something or they're gonna die. Which would be no bueno for the nugs and plant. Hell some people feed nutes until the last few days, so the flush weeks before harvest and all that is still debated.

What would be great for you(and us :D) is to pick about 4 spots on your plant to photo now, and then every couple days try to capture the same pics to see growth or stunting. Not being fully healthy, I'd give it 3 weeks. Get a little bit of vigor hopefully from your nute watering you did, and then maybe she'll fatten up. Don't be afraid to put in some more supports btw, whatever it takes to keep her from dying lol.

EDIT: 2 fingers wide buds was part guess, but also seems to be the most common cola/bud size, with all her crystallies and stank - that people get "chop fever" lol

A good rule of thumb to go by as far as breeder specified harvest times that's a perfect nothing went wrong the entire time and they're always a little bit early anyway because of marketing.
Breeders like bodhi, CSI Humboldt, crickets and cicada, high and lonesome and authentic genetics have more accurate harvest times

Rule of thumb is if they're saying 8 weeks take it to 10:00 they're saying nine weeks take it to 11 or 12 if they're saying 10 weeks take it to 12.

I find calexes get huge during that last 9 10 and 11 weeks.

See how your leaf margins are really curling upward your temperatures are much too high and you're experiencing nutrient toxicity due to the fact they're trying to drink more to pull themselves off but fertilizer strength is much too high for those ambient temperatures I'm going to bet you have a leaf surface temperature in the mid-90s

Oh yea it's hot man it's been in the 90s and up ever since it hit flowering, in the beginning weeks before I supercropped, it would smell nice, bit skunky and spicy but ever since I supercropped it doesn't really smell much anymore but the buds did fatten up and grow a lot and put on a bunch of trichs. In my blue dream grow years ago I was just messing around since it was covid time period and was gonna see how long it went before it started dying then suddenly the buds started swelling like crazy like unbelievably fat. The calyxes on the buds got hella chunky and I was trying to smoke it fresh picked lmao I was also smoking blunts and cigarettes in the same room it was growing and it was growing fine amazingly. I put some of the buds in a paper bag and like a week later it actually smelled like blue dream I had in the past and when I smoked it, it even had a similar high. I was pretty happy with it except I think I dried it too fast in the paper bag in hot temperature and the nugs shrunk a lot. I messed up and put my biggest colas in a black plastic bag and when I checked on it later it was all moist and nasty and just threw it out

It's grown in 100% happy frog soil with Humboldts secret nutes, base a&b, flower stacker, golden tree, sweet and sticky, I think it might need some cal mag, if I do another grow after this I'm definitely getting some. I only grow one to two plants at a time and leave only the highest bud sites so it only grows the dankest buds without putting energy into low quality stuff that doesn't get adequate light. I only want to try the highest quality most potent nugs and have no desire for anything less.

If you have to use all that, and still think you need more, I would advise going back to basics. Either a nice well rounded organic soil or a 2-3 part nutrient like Jack's or Mega crop.

You might want to grow full plants out just to get a better idea of what mature plants look like, that's why everyone was asking for full plant picks. Trichs are an indicator, but they're far from the only indicator.

I basically showed a whole plant pic, it's the one where you can see the top is pointing downwards, I don't need that much insight, was just curious if it is ready to chop yet. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks to see how it does.
It's only 5 nutes I'm using, it's not much at all, the plant has been growing great and has only recently started having leaves die off and that was one of the main reasons I was asking if ready to chop yet. Thanks for feedback, I think I got the info I needed already I'm just gonna give it few more weeks with water so it can use up the rest of the nutrients that may have built up in the soil and plant. I read sometimes some plants may have salt build ups and stuff from nutrients and that's why using only water last few weeks can be good so the plant can get rid of any excess accumulation and also use up the remaining nutrients still available.

You're causing issues with toxicity with alm those hydro nutes in soil.

Your smell being gone has nothin ti do with super cropping

It has to do with all that nutrient on top of scorching hot temps, if ambient is over 90, your leaf surface temperatures have to be easily 100+ degrees,

You say you're not interested in nothing but the dankest Bud's, then listen up, because it isn't happening at those temp's and that strength if feed.

If you use cal-mag at this stage, make sure it has no N

Read this if you're feeding synthetic , plants grown under this regimen will look 100000 times danker

Thanks for feedback, I can't do anything about the temperature, I'm just trying to do best I can with a simple grow. I heard of people using the same nutes I use in soil and it's fine. I think where I messed up this time is I used nutes almost every watering, with my blue dream grow I watered with nutes every other watering. More leaves are dying, I think it's pretty close to harvest it's been in flower for like 3 months already, it sprouted from seed 5 months ago lol

Dude i took one nug off and the underside had some brownish areas and I was plucking it off before throwing it into a paper bag and there were tiny seeds????? Lol I guess I'll harvest the 3 best looking nugs within the next week and let the rest just fill up with seeds for experimental grows

Harvested, smells like train wreck after breaking it up after going straight into brown bag to dry for a couple days, has that sort of passion fruit smell that some strains have when smelling the bud up close before breaking up
