I was at a NYE event with some of TO’s and BC’s biggest players in the current BM rec industry. I heard a wide range of opinions on upcoming legalization...mostly on the aspects of micro/craft operation viability...etc. One thing was common among them all tho...it’s biz as usual for them in 2018. :)

Nothings going to change for me or for most med patients. The few BM growers I've talked to hope for business as usual. The big concern from them is the expected drop in prices and whether it is financially viable to keep going.
IMO, government should step up and offer incentives and interest-free loans to help bm growers become legit craft growers. They have the experience and skill, why not help them transition into taxpaying citizens and employers? At least the consumer can continue to buy from a trusted source and it'll help starve out the big LP's.

That is a truly GREAT idea. Hope it gains some traction. Might take a few years.

I'll do what I always do. I'll buy a bit from mates to tide me over between personal harvests. The govt don't need anymore of our hard earned cash. Neither do poison schwag pushers. If I wanted a lung full of chemicals. There's plenty of other toxic options to suck down.

Sorry to hear that. These companies are controlled by the very people that used to put us in cages for weed - now they want to be my dealer? Not fucking likely. I will be actively trying to undermine their reputations and lobbying government in an attempt to affect their bottom line.
