I'm new to hydroponic growing. I have the basic concept and have a self watering hydroponic set up in progress. I have been looking into nutrients and there are so many options. General Hydroponics is good, highly recomended and decently priced but too complicated for a newbie like me. I have it narrowed down to 2 that I'd like to try.. Fox Farm and Advanced Nutrients. I have enjoyed some of the product that comes from Fox Farm so I know it produces results. But then again I have nothing to compare it to... I'm drawn towards AN because of the PH Perfect promise. If I go with FF I will be using Big Bloom, Grow big and Tiger Bloom. Also adding Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching. If I go with AN I will be using what they call THE BIGGER YIELDS FLOWERING SYSTEM - HOBBYIST GROWER LEVEL which includes: Either Sensi A & B or 5 in 1 Grow Micro and Bloom, Voodoo Juice, Big Bud, B-52 and Overdrive.
Is there really a difference as far as Ph buffers go? Am I getting more for my money with AN? They really aren't that much more expensive. In fact I've seen them cheaper than FF on ebay.
Anyone using either of these? Am I overlooking a great product? I don't really want to get too complicated with the nutrients and ph until I have a lil more practice.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!
