so many strains!! what to do?

What's the good word people?! So I'm looking around at the different seed banks and all the different strains that are available and I can not decide for the life of me what to grow. Hopefully you guys can help me with this. I plan on growing 3 or 4 different strains at once to have that sweet variety everyone dreams of. I plan on starting this grow on March 1 so hopefully I can be harvesting around the end of June. So the question still remains.. WHAT SHOULD I GROW?!

i'd go some purple maybe like purple train wreck, or maybe the lope

this your first try at growing? if it is i would say go with one strain until you get some practice. if not i would suggest Aurora indica as one to try if your going inside.

Yea. Your experience level and growing enviornment will dictate which strain you choose.

If you are a complete noob, bagseed. Its cheap, easy to obtain, and plentiful. You also wont feel as bad when you kill a plant as you would if you paid $10 per seed.

How about get some seeds on the cheaper side from a couple different breeders. Try lookin at some K.C. Brains and nirvana strains they are on the cheaper side but have a lot of variety.

i am almost finished with my first. so this will be my second. I have plenty of bagseed which I will be growing also. I would just like some suggestions on peoples favorites so that I can give them a try. I'm not concerned about killing a plant. You live and learn. And if I end up doing it right then I have succeeded. Thanks for the advice tho.

I have looked at hundreds of strains from everywhere. Some specific strains would be appreciated.

Himalayan Gold (feminized) by Greenhouse (Attitude Seedbank) - Great yielder, very bushy, very "strong" plant tht can withstand tough conditions. Im growing it right now with SuperLemon Haze, Lemon Skunk and LA Woman. My next grow will be ALL Him Gold!

Try to grow plants that are more on the indica side, finishes in reasonable time, takes some abuse and with controllable height. I would go for quality genetics, doesn't have to be expensive, but has a known (and good) reputation. How about White Rhino (Nirvana), Cannadential (DNA Genetics), and Cheese Wreck (Sagarmatha)? bubbleicious by nirvana is probably one of the easier, more potent strains you can grow..
seeds are pretty cheap too..

Great question that's asked a million times... I think it can be broken down into different categories.

You have Sativa, Indica, Sativa/Indica (mix) and Autoflowers, so you could pick your four out of these categories, or...

you could choose by region... Afghani, Thai, African, Hawaiian, Columbian, Jamacian, Mexican...

Then you have the sub-categories like Skunk, Kush, Purple, Cheese, Haze, etc...

Then you have specific qualities like yield (big bud), flower time (early girl), taste (sweet tooth)...

Or you could just pick from what is popular or classic... (white widow, AK-47, Northern Lights...)

or you can mix and match differing criteria.

I am personally growing Blueberry (always wanted to try it, hoping it tastes as great as it smells), White Widow (this seems to be the most popular strain so...), Cheese (with that name it has to have a great taste/smell), Super Lemon Haze (won the cannabis cup, wanted to try a sativa, plus I like lemon!)

Does anyone know which is the sweetest smoking strain? I want to smoke something that tastes like candy!

Maybe you should concern yourself with picking the best breeders, then figure out which of their strains you want.

price doesn't really concern me. Of course I don't want to spend 200 bucks on one seed, you catch my drift. I would like to stick to mainly indica.. but I would not object to growing a couple sativa either. I will be growing some autos just so I can have something to smoke while the others finish up.

At the end of the day, it's like asking what wine or beer to buy, lots of different opinions and preferences... But I would (and have) read grow journals from experienced growers and pick up info on what they do and what their views are on the different stains. But, consequentially, it's all down to how you do it, and how you prefer the high.

Someone else mentioned it, but honestly, you really want the strains that can take some abuse, and one strain that comes to mind is the good old classic Northern Lights.

I have been smoking for 10 years and I have been turned on to blue dream for the first time recently. It is by far the best tasting and craziest high I have experienced since Matanuska thunderfuck was around.

I know for sure after my Matanuska tundra finishes I am going to go Blue Dream!

how about Flying Dutchman's Blueberry Skunk....... everyone recommended it to my on my 2nd grow
