So sad about Mexico's new Marijuana stance

The Mexican president has just announced that the personal amount that can be carried will be increased from 5 grams to 28 grams, they will allow and make available cannabis-based medicine in most pharmacies and will get people out of jail who were convicted for carrying more than 5g of weed.

Why am I sad, then?

Our Mexican president as you might have heard is a mentally handicapped puppet working for somebody else, he also tries to be populist whenever he can. Most people in Mexico due to ignorance and because of being brain-washed in school oppose legalization of Marijuana.

A cannabis user in Mexico is referred to as "Marihuano" which translates as "Pot head", so it is assumed then that a cannabis user is an abuser and they are identified with a lower/uneducated part of society.

A UN meeting took place some days ago where the agenda was to stop persecuting users and regulate medical marijuana.

I believe the Mexican president tried to make it look as if Mexico is going forward on this subject while trying to appease the ignorant population who opposed legalization and came with an in-between regularization plan.

But there are many things left out, for instance, no plan to legalize medical marijuana and no plan to depanalize personal marijuana growth.

The situation is this:

1) Currently it is allowed to carry up to 5 grams of pot without this being a crime, however, there's absolute no information on the internet or anywhere else I know of that talk about what happens if you're caught by a cop with 5g or less. The only info I found is that the person is supposed to be "referred to an addiction center" but everyone in Mexico knows this doesn't happen, in fact you always get blackmailed by the cop and the judges to give them money to let you go, so you could even be jailed and wait for a sentence by the judge unless you paid, which is illegal, of course. So changing 5 grams to 1 Oz will not change anything int his regard, the user will most likely get blackmailed by the authorities.

2) Permit to import CBD medicines and sell them in pharmacies will become a reality, however, prohibiting these medicines was something mindlessly stupid, I've heard that in order to get a bit high you need to drink several bottles and these are not cheap and will be made by foreign companies at the beginning. It's only good news for big pharma and many people in Mexico won't be able to afford them, so they will have to buy weed in the black market dealing with drug dealers, etc.

3) No word about permission to carry seeds (it is illegal), or growing for personal use.

4) It seems these new laws are so insignificant at least they won't impact the narco war which was supposed to be one of the objectives of legalization = reduce drug violence. It actually seems as if the government wants to keep drug lords existing since it is business for both of them while appearing to be getting "modernized" on their drug stance.

Well, we all know that but unfortunately that shows how mankind does not have the necessary awareness yet, I mean sure, these are not the middle ages were they had bloodletting practices to "cure" diseases but we still have a long way to go to be truly free.

Funny enough avillax they actually still use bloodletting in certain medical situations. My father in law had a stroke due to very high blood pressure and they bloodletted 1.5 litres over a course of a week to stabalize him

They also use leeches to improve circulation if they reattach fingers. Weird, some of the old school things they rediscover work

I think scientologists or Calvinists still practice this.

When weed becomes legal in the whole USA will there be market for Mexican drug-lord weed?
What about American kids? Are they a considerable part of the illegal market's consumers?

Probably not Jamaica is close to legalization so I would think we would get dank sativa from them for dirt cheap no need for Mexican brick when you got the best Jamaican sativa.

Kids will probably get weed from people of age and hustle the little kids, a bit like alcohol can't say I ever heard of black market alcohol for kids. Lol

So I use to live in a small ass town in the middle of BFE Tx.. I knew these 3 super cute chics that were all sisters, but they had a baby brother that was like 13. He had asthma real bad and supposedly pot helped him? How, I have not the slightest clue. But I use to sell his mom pot to give to him. I wouldn't take the money from him. I told him he was not allowed to ask me for it and he could not hand me the cash..

Is that bad? Lol

I probably shouldn't post this on a public forum.. But that was 7 years ago.. Statute of limitations..
