so we went to look at this house yesterday right.......

jesus, 399,000 though? You can't even find a house for that much in my area lol. Obviously thats a lie, but that is a shit ton for a house in this area. Getting ready to close on a house here soon and the most expensive house we looked at was 109k.

my last job paid $25/hr, and i was allowed to smoke all day. as long as i kept it low. ;)

That's cool, but how much would you say is the average starting pay?

After seein your grows I have trouble picturing you as a wage slave. :)

my house is $402,000 - and its only 3 bed 2 bath. Boston, New York, Cali are definitely some of the more expensive places to live in the US.
I have a vacation house in FL, i paid $179,000 - its also 3 bed 2 bad, and its on a golf course.

It totally depends on where you are in the US.

Tis why i would never live in cali, lived in Bend, OR for awhile and even that place was too expensive.

Ya man that blows, the house we are buying has 3 bed 2.5 baths 2 car garage, 1700sq ft 2 story townhouse for 105k. That was about 10k more than we wanted to spend but the house is just perfect

sorry slojo,,it's not just Cali,,I'm in Canada,,you get what you pay for,,,100,00 here equals welfare dump

i started at $11 as a laborer. made it to $25 in 6 years. welding job.

I have a friend who's a welder. he's a tulsa dropout.
His starting pay at his first welding job was something like $14 an hour. his place was right around $120,000. 4 bed 2 bath.

Wishin you the bet of luck on this place, OP. if you get it you gotta post pics of the grow room. :D

Dude! I need to move where you are. That is friggin nuts! I bet you live in a pretty rural area too... SF (Single Family) Homes probably have an acre or two?

well ya, in the newer developments. Ours is a detatched property, but our neighbors are only 4 feet away lol. You could easily spend 150-175k in get in the HELLA nice neighborhoods with gates n shit. but its not really rural, it's in town, kinda by the mall, nice neighborhood though.

Holy cow!!! what are salaries in your area? I bought a 1500 sq footer for $130k in 2002 and today it's worth less because of the damn wall street raiders....... I sure would love to see some of those guys hanging from a rope.... At one time my home was valued at $215k, then the bottom fell out...

Yea, my FL property is in a gated community. It's rather big, and the bar is literally 1/2 mile from the entrance, when Im down there, I get shit faced and have no worries about drunk driving, once Im inside the community Im "relatively" home free...

I'd be knocking the hell out of some wood right now, but that's just me.. ;)
