yeah whipping isnt the best way to do it.
the reason its foggy and pasty looking is because there is tens of thousands of tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bubbles. air spaces if you will... kinda like looking at a sponge.
now when you heat it.. it melts it, turns it into a liquid, and all those bubbles go away, and it turns it into an amber colored like sap.
either way, that oil looks nice.
if you dont have a vacuum, I always let my dish with oil sit in a hot water dish from 6-24 hours just to be sure
