I was at the market a year a ago and saw hash and edibles and Oil on the tables and now it's pretty much nothing.

No more brownies lol

I know a patient with Hep C that really needs the etibales but cannot find them.

Whats the deal

Well that's sad.

Folks really need the editables as it does have a different effect especially with those that have Hep C and patients that do not want to smoke.

Thanks for the update bro

The question is in front of the Supreme Court on appeal in the Carruthers case (http://komornlaw.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/People-v.-Carruthers.pdf). It will be decided sometime in the next few to several months.

Arguments will be that a concentrate is, in fact, a permitted "preparation of" the dried leaves and flowers. You know. Just like pharmaceutical morphine is a preparation of the poppy plant. Cannabis is much more benign.

You can only extract "plant material" from a plant and nothing else correct? Absolutely anything you extract from a plant is still "plant material" correct? If I extract the clock from the dashboard of my car it is a clock, but it is still a car part ...

How an opinion that defies and contradicts empirical logic can be justified by lawyers is beyond me and I would argue beyond "reasonable" in this case(Carruthers). The fact that this decision (bigotry) on it's face has clearly and intentionally impeded patient access contrary to law should be actionable by the People IMO I'll wait until "justice" shakes it's way out while I keep on keeping on :bigjoint:

Ah lol

I hear ya bro

It's the patents that I think of. Sometimes folks are to sick to smoke yet need the medicinal benefits of our beloved plant. I just don't understand this.

At the end of the day it's the patients that suffer. Many need the med's in smokeless form... Now I have to tell this lady that she can't get her meds cause the law says she can smoke it but can't eat it.

What ever happened to logic...

Since I personally have 2 terminal patients one HIV and a cancer patient that cant smoke I still make them oils and edibles, there is nothing else they can do so im willing to take the risk, as im sure a lot of us are already doing, in a jury court of our peers I really doubt they would side with prosecution anyways.

When a law forces good people to chose between what is right and what is legal, that law is wrong. If not complete evil.
Thanks for choosing what is right sir.

Hey nugget. Do you think it wise to post that on a public forum?
Who says he is from Michigan?

This ignorance is specific to this state's justice system and should be mocked IMO There was a consentrate cup up in TC a couple months ago. Many dipensaries and farmers markets still provide concentrates to patients all around the state. Let's not take this joke too seriously as to give it any credibility.

That said, I hope none of you (esp LEO) take anything I say on an internet pot forum seriously ;)

This is, after all, a Michigan forum. If not from here, forget it. Or not.
