one day many years from now you will grudgingly know that what we did in Iraq was a great thing.

you are too narrow in heart to see it now, but one day you will know it and hate the fact that you know.

history will never let you forget,

mark my words

Those pictures capture much of the trouble there. It should be Iraqs pulling down those statues, not the Americans. I don't think you can force a revolution on a people and make it last in any meaningful way.

They tried, and they weren't able to, so we helped them. I don't see anything wrong with that. Isn't that what liberals are always trying to force people to do, to help each other through a government middleman?

its like when fance helped us right in time during the revolution

without france america would be part of the british empire

unfortunaly saddam killed all the revolutionaries

lucky for us back then the super powers did not have modern technology which allows the enslavment of the majory very easyly thereby making revolution close to impossible barring some outside assistance.

so regarding iraq, turns out we needed somthing, and they needed somthing

perfect

we couldnt trust saddam not to help al qeuda with deadly weapons and had to get rid of him and the later desending hords of al queda

they wanted him dead and to have a happy normal country again

walla, we got what we wanted, and they got what they wanted

to bad the only ones who didnt get what they wanted was you guys, who only wanted failure and grudgingly still do

today you hear the news, they say iran has enough jucie to build 1 nuke

now ponder that in our pretty little heads

what would saddam do? just let iran dangle an abomb in front of them?

if america was not there will saudi arabia demand an abomb?

how does turkey feel about this?

how would Kuwait feel if saddam got the bomb stating that iran has one and they need to defend thier national security?

the war will end when they have the right pieces for the iraqi government.
a government that is so corrupt that we have complete control over them.
once we control iraq we are pretty much set in the middle east.
we control isreal, iraq, kuwait, afghanistan and our allies are saudi arabia, omen, yemen, united states of emirates, quatar. only countries in the middle east standing in our way are syria, iran and egypt who are all backed by china and russia.

but yeah, once we run things over there, we control one of the largest supplies of opium in the world and are backed by the oil power known as saudi arabia.

thats just my input

The real deal is Iraqs problems are Iraqs., We had no business in there in the first place, The Oil contracts and the war contracts pretty much say it all, Iraq was a for profit war, during and after.

Tens if not hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians dead, infrastructure destroyed, the flames of sectarian violence fanned to unprecedented intensity. You call that a great thing? Only a moral cretin could make such a statement.

don't forget Iraqs new constitution that allows BP, exxon/mobil etc...to do business in Iraq now..they now get to split their oil proceeds with the rest of the world...sounds like the main purpose of this war has been to spread the wealth......:bigjoint:

What about the blow back?
What about the ticking time bombs;the relatives of the murdered father, mother, son?
The only way I see a pull out in any future time frame is go all nazi on them.
Pull out all media, do what needs to be done!
Instill such a fear of god that we might come back one day.
We need to put them into a position of fear, this is all they understand and respect.
I'm afraid these people will linger while planning somekind of revenge.
Walking away isn't an option.
