I'm curious if people start flowering when it gets a certain height or amount of weeks, when do you know it's ready? I'm also curious how long can I veg for? I'm almost 1 1/2 months I'm thinking another 1-2 weeks, or should I go longer? I want them to get at least 6-7 feet high. Most of them are 20" to 25"

You can vegg at any point you want. A good rule of thumb is a plant will generally triple in size when you start to flower. 6 or 7 feet holly crap. LOL. I generally start flowering between 18 to 24 inches and they usually get about 4 ft. Anyway to answer your question it is strickly up to you when you want to flower.

ye man... space and your patience is the true indicator of veg time.

if i had the space and the patience, i would veg for 10 weeks and grow some fucking monsters

Alright sounds good, thanks for the tips, I started in a 14x11 room and I'm in another 11x11 so I've got tons of space, and height isn't a big factor except for my ceilings, although I do got 14 foot high ones in another room, hmm? haha

I generally veg for height considerations. The ceiling in my cab is only 6 ft, so when using 3 gallon pots(10" high) I usually veg to about 24" and the plants finish anywhere between 4 and 5 feet tall(not including the pot, just the plants themselves). Sometimes I must bend over the tops when they get too tall and grow into the lights, but I don't consider it a big deal.
