So...you can't transplant Autos?

This pic is 48 hours after the previous pic. Zero damage or stunting due to the rough transplant. The takeaway for me isn't that all autos are suitable for transplanting..but that some take it in their stride and HSC Low Coast Skunk is definitely in that category.

This pic was taken this morning just 4 days after the video and about a week and a half after transplant. The big one in the middle is the HSC Skunk. Bottom left is the Dinafem White Widow. These two were sprouted (1/16) a week before the three Alien V Triangle (1/23). None show any adverse affects from transplanting. I predict the three AvT will dwarf the older two in about a week. Last time they grew to 48". WW usually grows to 36" - i've never grown HSC Lost Coast Skunk so she's a bit of a mystery. I switched back to Fox Farms trio of nutes for convenience. I'm only adding water as needed when the pots feel light. Over-watering at this stage can cause damage so I'm being careful. I also noticed some heat stress so I backed off the COB light and shut off the two P300's. So far so good..

Mephisto Alien Vs Triangle at 5 weeks (front) and White Widow auto at 6 weeks (rear). All of these pics so far are different autos that were transplanted..in some cases they were clumsily transplanted. I'm going to keep doing this until I stunt one. So far I think it's bit of a myth (transplanting leading to stunting). Snopes would probably give a 85% false rating. I don't doubt there's some truth to it, but transplanting autos shouldn't be any more or less of a big deal than transplanting photo-period plants.

These 3 girls are Dinafem Bubba Kush Autos - I didn't transplant this time. All 3 are 22" at 21 days from breaking soil. No discernible difference between these are the ones I transplanted. I did start off with 4 seeds that sprouted in the paper towel but one didn't make it. It was a HSO Blue Dream auto. My success rate when i start of in a solo cup is 100% so far.

Sorry, there is no formula for plants, photo or auto. Each plant is different. You would be best to start a new thread and show pics of the plant. Nobody can advise you on over/under or any other problem without pics and problem you are actually having. Plants not growing, bad color leaves, and so forth. Off the top of my head you're plant will be small. Its soil and you have it in 3 gal. Thats not bad(especially coco), but 5 gal is better in soil and Glue is not the biggest plants barring out of the ordinary grows.

There are so many variables that you havent listed it's hard to advise, what temp, is it constant, are you running 24 hrs light, how big do you want them or little,

I did autos for a year, I found that you can pick the height of them to within inches, if you want them 2m, put them straight in a deep pot on auto water every four hours, if you want them small only feed as they droop, until the stretch finishes, that tap root its sends down will govern the height, so if the pot is too shallow, it will stay small, no matter how much you water, they dont have to be big pots, just deep. I had them in the tall slim air pots....think they were13 or 15 litre idk

Thanks for the info I'm going to have to look more into this and do some more experimenting with transplantation of autos.
If you were REALLY intrested in learning, you go back the last 20-50-100 pages here and look for titles of posts that intrigue you, and remember the names that GROW and HARVEST good autos and the guys that just troll because they don't(really means Can't) and than you'll have a better understanding of what is the truth and what is built on new growers or photo growers that don't really succeed at groing them. Enjoy this as ot is agreat grow. Familiarize a few growers in perticular like Buddy, Budzbuddah and McStrats just to start.
