Every weirdo, dumbass, extremist, geek, freak, and slimeball with something they just need to tell everyone now has a soap box and a bull horn.
And that's before you consider the security implications...Chinese companies can't tell the government "No, we won't let you see our customers private, privileged information."

While in reality they won't get much useful information from most people, banning ALL apps with a connection to china from ALL government equipment would probably be a good idea, and getting rid of tiktok forever would stop so much damage...
