hey guys, i've seen a few pictures of grow rooms or closets of people's who have put soda bottles on the ground in the room. i have asked and never gotten a definitive answer, what is this called and what are the benefits? are the bottles screwed up tight or are the caps loose or off? any help would be appreciated. thanks guys!

i use the soda bottles to make co2. take the top of the bottle put a hole in then fill 3/4 full throw some sugar and dry yeast in there and shake. shake ever day until bubbles run out dump and refill

or you can just fill the bottle with water yeast and sugar
i think thats what hollysmoke was trying to communicate
refill with a new mix every 2-3 days

good for up to two weeks....1 packet yeast...1 cup sugar...1/2 gallon water in a gallon jug...when ya shake it and get no fizz...add more sugar...replace every two weeks with a fresh batch
