Soft white will be in the 2700k light temps . day light bulbs in the 6500k light temp range . 6500k is for veg. 2700k use for flowering . when in doubt look for the kelvin temp on the box.. what has been working for me is 3 to 1 ... 3 6500k (daylight) to 1 2700k (soft white)

each co of bulbs uses slight diff names for them..look for the highest kelvin # for veg and lowest for flower....7000 (blue)range for veg and 2000 (red) range for flowering

Warm white is 2700k. The closest thing to soft white that I've heard is cool white and it's 4100k. With three CFL's a good combo would be two, 6500k, and one 2700k. Keep them about six to nine inches above your plants until they've established their roots and you'll be bumping.

I planted them just about 36 hours ago. So thet should be breaking soil soon. I hope. The pAtience in the beginning is also the hardest for me

this is nonsense, you want them as close as possible without overheating which is a couple of inches max.
in the wild seeds sprout in full sun, they do not need gentle light to start.

yeah, a single fan sucking the air out with vent hole. van is sucking out air through the bottom with the vent at the top right. ik it should be the other way around, its a cpu fan wired to a phone charger. and ik i need atleast 3000 lumens in there, thier is four plants atm going to be growing, waiting for them to break soil

the hight suggested was just fine for new seeds about to pop. then lower. to hit at a couple inches for new seed.
when cfl says 45 watt on the box but equal to 150 watt, they dont cmpare to hid lights. the watt comparison is to a reg household incandecent lumens output..and isnt what they lead us to believe. dont look at watts, look at lumens. a watt only tells what it cost to run and no truthfull for cfl as how bright or powerfull pentration we get. that is lumens., many many years ago when i used cfl we found that more of less wattages work better. this way we have a better overall coverage of the plant. rather than 1 bigger that will only be above or less coverages.
we all do things diff and this is just the way i do and suggest. not saying anyone is wrong as we all grow diff
