2700 kelvin or lumens...2 diff things one is colour other is ..well..lumens.
what you will be able to run for lumens will be how well you can controll heat from them. cfl can get a bit warm being the ballast is built into the mogul base. if your eletrical savy there is a way to remove them and make the ballast a remote one so the heat is out of the room. if you dont feel comfy with eletricity then dont do this, but the base can be taken apart.

ok..some are that and kelvin colour as well. 2700 lumens wont grow much of a plant. i know your limoited but just so your not expecting to yield large or even properly finish the plant.

2x2x2 with 4 plants? Use more soft whites during the first few weeks then switch to more daylight when you start flowering. If you're using CFL's heat shouldn't really be a problem. With your fan exchanging air you'll be fine. Sometimes folks on here who have been growing huge ops with tons of lights and nutes and co2 and all that over think the basic grows. In the end it'll be the care you put into them that shows rather than the lights themselves.

untill you just do this nobody can say if it will work. nobody knows about the environment within the home or what you do there. it may or may not be to hot. and some of us guys with large scale set ups used to be here to and used cfl....may have been 30 years ago but they havent changed how they work yet..some got larger but they work the same so some do have an understanding on what and how. you dont need to be new to help with a new grower. that dont make sence

and ya 4 plant in 2 foot floor space isnt going to fit. 1 plant will maybe 2..plants on average like 1 square foot per plant...they like..dosnt mean it has to be. that will be up to you as to how good of a grow you want or you just want to wing it and hope

The "blue" spectrum is for vegging so the higher nM ratings apply. The "red" spectrum is for flowering so the lower nM ratings apply. You can use a combination to have both throughout your grow however. If I were you I would use 2- 6500 and 1- 2700 for the first 3 weeks then use 2- 2700's and 1- 6500 for the rest. Plain and simple.

never mind the name. look at kelvin numbers. i said each bulb maker uses diff names. a name means nothing kinda of...kelvin tells the colour...a hi number like 7200 is for veg will be blue/white colour
2700k is for flower. will be the redish colour

his is right info to on colour and mixing them...all personal preff as how we mix them up
