Damn SOG those are some dank cuts you got going there. I would shitcan my 2010 grow for some of those. Especially the Bubba Kush - Swerve Pre 98 Cut (Dank), Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck (Dank), got seeds of both C99 phenos so we will have to compare, Shishkaberry - StinkBudd Cut (dank), Master Kush - Rascle Cut (very Dank), DJ Short - Blueberry (theo one to have), DJ Short - FLO (Dank), White Widow (old time Dank), Green Crack (very dank).thanks for the heads up Seeker
Where did you get that drying rack?
Is there a special blade or attachment for the spin pro? Im going to get one of those. I cant trim all these plants like I did this year. Its too much work for one person.
Also those bud pics are really nice looking. Have you tested any yet? We need a smoke report. Like the hash ball too
Thx SOG. Good work on the trimming. I should bring my 2 totes of WC red over and be done in a few hours, lol. I made the mistake of throwing the sticky bud into the totes and the fans and other leaves stuck to the bud which made it hard to trim and I dont think the spin pro would of been able to unstick the leaves to cut them.Drynet $46.95 at BGHydro.com
the spin pro is real nice and works,
it comes with 20 spare blade replacement (the blade is just a straight wire, not a knife)
very simple to work and delivers very nice results,
if your nuggs are sticky u can still run it when shit is dry
the instructions calls for applying when its fresh cut
i tried it with my semi dry bubba, it made it crumble
did it with the GC that's been hanging to dry the past 6 days
it did a perfect job on it, better then if it was fresh IMO
because the bud is so big dank and sticky, it stayed together through the trim
only the dry matter went, which are the fans and leaves
i processed 2lb in 6 hours last night all by myself, i was shocked
it took me 4 days to trim same 2lb of Bubba
with that i have completed about 80% of my trim work
we should have a smoke report from a third party in no time
i got it at bghydro.comI dont think the spin pro would of been able to unstick the leaves to cut them.
Where did you get the spin pro. Ive seen it at varying prices.
I was thinking of that drying rack when I saw the spinpro. I tried both trim before hang and trim after hang. I havent decided which is easier but if I did the spin pro thing I would be done when the bud is dried. Or I would have been done already! Im going to try to mow through these totes but I doubt I will finish. I may need about 3-4 more gal jars too. I will save some untrimmed dry for the test.i got it at bghydro.com
went to the Pasadena store, its in stock!
as for the leaves, id say the spin pro will do the job
see, the leaves are dry and will come apart,
the bud is sticky and will stay together
i thought the same about my GC
worth a shoot, you should bring over a batch so we can test this
if this works, your next two weeks will turn into few hours of trimming
you'd be done already bra,I was thinking of that drying rack when I saw the spinpro. I tried both trim before hang and trim after hang. I would have to agree since the leaves are "erect" as you put it jberry. Once they are dried the become limp or dehydrated and stiff so Im not sure how easily the leaves would go into the slots. Well I will find out one way or another soon.ive tried trimming it at every stage and it definitely works the best when it is fresh cut and the leaves are erect....... yes erect
lolGood lord, did yo' fingas fall off from all dat chopin'??!?!?!?
I feel ya brother. I was just looking on the curing bottles and Ive been trimming since 9-1-09 almost solid. Still have 2 totes left of the WC red pistiuls but it wont be anywhere as hard as the WC clone I just finished. Happy Thanksgiving to you alllol
my fingers are hanging by a thread, and my eyes are ready for 100k service
