SOG method

so i have been looking into this and i would like to try it. if anyone has any knowledge on it i get the idea just not exactly how its done

Its simple. Take alot of cuttings. Root them. Flower them with little to no veg time. Instead of having a couple big plants, you have a ton of small ones. This is especially good if you limited on grow space or have a lower wattage light.

also, I know there was a cat on here who had the nicest nicest sog ive ever seen. I cant seem to locate the link at the moment but he had like.....64 plants under 2 thousand watt hoods. Ill keep searching.

This is how I do a SOG as explained in post # 2.... Start with some good mothers and select clones and get them to root. This usually take me 5-10 days and I try to take the tallest ones I can get. Once they have a good root structure, usually about 14 days after the were originally cut off the mother they go straight into the flower room. Then just wait it out till they are done. The idea behind a SOG is mass production. Instead of a few BIG plants taking twice as long....you have a shit load of smaller plants that are finished in half the time.

That depends on how big you want your clones to be. I try and cut mine when they are 8 to 10 inches long because mine will be going straight into flower once the roots are well established, then they will stretch for a couple of weeks to about 24 to 30 inches and then fill out.

that looks nice im on the same mission what type of light are you using ? im not sure to use 2 1000 hps or 4 600 hps what do you think ?
my setup looks just like yours right now but with no lights my table are built for aeroponic and will hold 40 sites for every 1000 or 2 600 hps

Personal preference on the lights. I had two 1000w HPS over each of my 3' x 8' tables and then switched to three 600w dimable Quantum digital ballast in their place . I have had better yields with the 600's. So now I am running 6 x 600w's over my two tables. I know that sounds like over kill but I am getting more lumens closer to the plants while useing less total watts. Another reason is that if a bulb blows or a ballast goes out, I can adjust the other two 600's to cover the same area till a replacement is in place. I had one of my 1000w ballasts go out before I changed over to sixes and I didn't have a back up and my yield suffered because of it. But I do have a back up 600w Quantum ballast and several back up bulbs now.

From the time I cut a clone to harvest time usually averages 10 weeks. Eleven at the most. Two weeks in the aero cloner and 8 weeks in the flower room.....Based on everything going right.

It real simple. You can do biweekly, or weekly harvest. Basically you just splant a plant every week or two (more than one usually like 2- andwhen its harvest time in a few months you get non stop harvest for whatever tieme period.

Im trying to do this myself now.
