ya i kinda gathered that much. i heard of some ppl moving it to flowering room where they then begin scrog.

i can highly recommend scrog.. it will take you 1-3 grows to get the exact idea how to do but after that it really pays of..

i know it's a bit different but i like to train my plant with rubber bands, just one around the pot then i have something to tie all the branches down to. just using rubber bands, works well for me, and they tend to give as the plant grows so there's no need to adjust them. works for me, would't suggest it for larger plants though, string maby. but yeh! deffo i think training is just as good as a scog and i didn't rate the sog for indoor as it's just all a bit weard sounding to me. but my out door crop is sog so i cant complain.

OOHHHHH another pluss is that you only have to break 1 rubber band to undo your handy work ... try that with a scog. lol.

i've grown out two scrogs at this point. well in the middle of the second, but point is is that this comment holds true. really figuring out the scrog method takes time. yet i can already see i'm going to yield far higher at this point this time. and i still messed it up.

next time will be better.

LST'ing at the height of your screen will help you tremendously with a perpetual scrog grow. i'm no pro, but i've learned that LST'ing about an inch below where i would put my screen during vegg until the last week or so helps incredibly. the plant already has an idea of what to do. just make it happen.

with that 1000 watter your looking at getting, a single 4x4 scrog SCREEN. yes the screen alone 4x4 should yield you a pound per plant under one 1000.

two 600watters would give you an imaculate perpetual scrog grow.

sog to me seems as if it is designed for those not willing to wait the extra time during vegg.

really, you could scrog out under two 600watters, clone off them and throw down sog next to them and actually do both at the same time.

i would think that would work at least...

just my two cents.

Edit: topping during the first week of flowering helps produce double buds. by this time your plant should be able to handle a little extra stress. maybe top half the last week in vegg, and the first week in flower top the other half.

i've topped once as a test run during the first week of flower, and it works wonderfully.

dried or wet??? how many plants??? how long veg?? the idea behind my perpetual grow is to never ever ever run out so during veg i should be close to harvest as well before im down to only having a oz or a half oz

dried. 4 plants 5 weeks veg and 9 weeks of flowering.. maybe 10.. with respect you wont run out before next harvest...

lol well i know its frowned upon here, but its not all to smoke. Not tryin to be a big dealer or anything, just got some bills to pay. Mortgage and what not. all towards good cause

i know but still i you kept a 100 it would be enough until next harvest.. i´m gonna get bubble hash out of it as well... maybe 8-12 grams...

you are exactly right on the terminology. i'm guessing you already know what a scrog is. A sog i kinda supposed to give the same effect, except instead of doing it with one or 2 or so plants you do it with many many little plants that you put into flower when they around only 6 inches. the end result is basically a "sea of green". Which are about 10 or so litlle plants which are probably about 2 feet tall after they are ready to be harvested.

I guess sog can have the adv, however I would avoid it like the plague.

High plant count's aint my thing , even if there small etc.

I'd rather just a few big tree's , that way if worst thing happens you got a nice low count.

Just my opinion .

i agree with you on that. especially in a perpetual because then you will have to have double or quadruple the amount you really want. if you catch my drift. ie. you want to harvest 5 plants every 2 weeks or every month. in order to do this you are gnna have 10-20 plants going at once in different stages. Sucks that the authorities dont understand what you are trying to achieve and just do a count instead. FUCIN IDIOTS!

Indeed , however we can use this to our advantage imo.

What judge/jury would believe you where aiming for 2lb's per plant indoor's?.

They will just see it as 2 big plants , but 2 plants none the less.

I mean there's actual growers out there that don't believe in 2lb indoor plants lol.

Where as 20 small plants going to yield a half oz each , will be seen as 20 plants.

Tho it is so much bullshit we go threw.

dude, ive seen a 2lb plant. It was huge and he had all his branches tied up because they were to heavy. He probably vegged forever mind you but its worth it for sure. i think he got a couple oz's under 2 lbs

^^ , tbh if you can start to push over 8 oz a plant dried /cured , then your in the right direction , as it wont require many of them for a nice harvest.

The more you can get per plant , the less plants you can run i guess.

Ideally I would have no more than 10 plants. 1 mother , 2 vegging , and 2 for flowering + cutting etc . If I could nail it down to actually pull 2lbs per plant myself , i'll get there someday someway.
