Two trays on the left are on wheels
The only reason I'm using the 6 inch, is because it's a premade life top, from htg lolLol as long as you dont go DR jekyll on them ..jk
6 or 10 is up to you bud.
I suggest a 5inch cup
That will work but if I was you I would get a 2 x 4 flood and drain tray with a lid, cut holes in lid for 2 inch net pots then just drop rooted clones into it straight out of an aero cloner and flood 30 mins on, 30 mins off. Way easier to clean than all those pipes. No medium. Its what I do but I use 1 metre x 1 metre trays. Works awesome.Looking to build a sea of green setup for a 5' x 2.5' tent. Was going to build it 4' x 2' and pack as many plants into the space as possible. Would like to use one central reservoir to make it easier. Would something like this work? Any specifics on pipe diameter and pot size would help.
Those girls are beautiful! WOW!SOG = Sea of Green (many small pots/plants jammed into a space. Minimal veg time.)
SCROG = Screen of Green (veg into the screen until 1/2-3/4full.)
Heres a combo, mothers scrogged in back right corner. All others are clones vegged 2wks then flowered in 6” pots.
Not the same at all.View attachment 4077211
Ive grown small trees in themI was mostly wondering if something like this could handle the roots of small clones.
If I am not mistaken you have already been told. If you have your heart set on that system, go ahead and buy it and learn your lessons first hand. Its a good way to learn but a better way to learn is to open your eyes and ears.I was mostly wondering if something like this could handle the roots of small clones.
Exactly. Can try to guide the noobs to avoid the mistakes we have already made but hey, I guess they gotta learn the hard way.I know i dont run them anymore
Just for the cleaning and maintenance reasons
