Well I am a bit unsure on how to proceed.

I have quite a few grows going on with plenty of space but have decided to throw a pile of autos in a small compact box as I am now running out of space.

I have seen people produce similar to what I am after while they are only using 2 ltr pots, I am using 9 litre pots so hoping for a bigger yield.

the SOG's I have seen have all used tiny pots and pulled over half oz of each plant minimum.

this box is ABOUT 3.5 foot high(Gives me 2.5 foot above pots)
3 foot wide
6 foot long.

Its an ottoman - im sure everybody knows a standard ottoman size.

500w CFL in box.

2x Auto Pounder 6x Auto Northern Lights Blue.

the pots have about 1 inch space each side between other pots. they are in a zig-zag formation to make best use of the small space.

This grow, grow space, grow style may not be recommended but, I want to try it and I want to maximize yield.

Wont be using HPS lights as the box is to small for the distance I need from plants.

I have seen people pull 2 oz of a plant with CFLs that they have only achieved 14gram on doing a sog with CFLs.

I want to pull aprx 200 Grams from these 8 plants.

Ignoring everything else, what would be my best method to achieve just under an oz per plant assuming everything else is perfect?

1 - I could LST the plants to grow within the space of their pot, circle round the pot and let the side branches grow up, or LST in a zig zag formation, like the pots are positioned, one growing north, one south, one north, one south etc etc.

2 - I could do a Scrog to make an even canopy and in the last 2 weeks let the buds grow through the screen.

3- SOG Grow, let them all grow vertical and prune them for space.

4- Do nothing, let them grow and overwhelm the grow box/lights

So perfect medium, perfect lights, perfect temps, PH, humidity etc etc...

LST, SCROG, SOG or do nothing ?

I have not considered topping/fiming/super cropping as per my understanding, autos short vegative period makes them bad canditates for taking stress and repairing in time to not be detrimental to bud growth.

If I am wrong and should consider the other options, let me know!

Well since your running autos I wouldn't suggest any topping trimming because you will just lose yeild because there isn't enough time for them to heal. Lst is the best way to train autos. And with autos you want a 2-3 gal pot atleast because they will get a good size root mass to them. I ran autos my first 2 grows in 3 gal pots and they were 20-30" tall. (Dp think different and auto lemon haze) autos get big man unless you get a lowryder or dwarf and usually they have a good amount of ruderals which means low potency. For your space I would recommend reg photo seeds in small pots maybe veg for a week and flip to 12/12. I'm no expert but I have grown autos and photos and know that autos go crazy with growth and the only way to tame it is lst. Good luck man

I have no experience with autos. I have followed Uncle Bens recommendations and LST my current grow. I will get more finished product from 2 girls than I did with 4 the previous grow.

SAM_0911.jpgSAM_0882.jpgThis is one way to LST. I FIM'd at week 2 or 3 so she will stay short and bushy. Not all strains like to be LST'd.

Very Nice.. I have used several techniques from Mainlining, Supercroping, and Fimming with great results.. But I keep reading about the SOG method.. Smaller plants, more often.. Any feedback on this method ?? I have been trying to achieve the uniformity you show in your picts.. I have had some success.. But my question is how long did you keep them in Vegg ?? Clones or seeds.( Looks like seeds from the equal nodes in the 2nd pict.. Does the potency suffer from so many "tops" ?? I live in a mobile home park and am limited to 50 amp main feed.. I am using IndaGrow 420 watt with full spectrum with LED light rails on either side of the IndaGrow in Vegg, and switch to 150 watt Red LED's in flower.. I am using 4 fixtures in a 10'x8' storage shed.. Thanks
