As the topic says, this os a shot of my SoG's canopy under 400w hps. Going to start defoliating 1-2 fan water leaves tomorrow, then again thursday on the top and middle to allow light to make it through the canopy. Around weeks 2-3 im going to remove the lower growth so that they focus on main cola growth, so ell me what do you guys think? They are in 32oz hempy cups, 0 veg time, from rooted clone to flower, about 10-14" away from the hps, do you guys think I could fit more plants under just this one hps ? Or would I be able to harvest more with less plants ? With what I got now do you think its possible for me to harvest 6 oz dry ? All constructive criticism, and suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance for all responses and of course happy growing !

Double the amount of those plants. I like the idea of trimming shit from bottom. A few fan leaves maybe. Do you have a reflector for the 400w, cooltube or the like?

May be 1.5 - 2.5 oz dry depending on strain and your ability to control that environment.

Was hoping for .5g per watt atleast... if I were to lower the amount of plants, and increase my pot size, I would have a better chance of atleast making it to the .5g per watt area correct ?

I'm a sog type of guy if you would have used say 2l soda bottles and have had 6-8" rooted clones with about 12-16 plants under your 400 you easily get a qp. Having your plants in those 32 ounce cups will limit your potential. What medium are you using?

The medium is 25% vermeculite and 75% perlite, I chose trying it this way after seeing dr bud green genes do his 20oz soda bottle sog. My tent is a 4'L x 2'W x 4'H grow space.... im thinkin about swapping from the 32ozers to the 2 liter bottles

My 400 watt cab finished up 2 weeks ago. 2'x3'x5', 400 watt cooltube, 9 plants in 1 gallon pots. Sunshine mix #4, nectar for the gods nutes. I got just over 12 oz of Plushberry, which is typically a low yielder.

May want to consider a few less plants with a bit larger pots.
