SOG yield question

Ok so this is my 1st grow since 2005 and my very 1st hydroponic grow. current setup is

2x 400w hps
1x 150 hps
6x 4ft dual 40w flourescent tubes (hanging vertically along the grow space)
5x 6 plant 18 gallon diy dwc systems
and 36sq foot of space with plenty of ventilation

im gonna be using the bc recipe for success chart as my nutrients but likely only 1/2 the called for mix and the "kolossus" strain from sannie. I know there is never really an exact answer to a "how much per plant" question but im going for a SOG grow. Gonna veg until 15" to 18" then flower for 8 to 9 weeks in hopes of a 3 1/2 ft plant ready for harvest. Has anyone had any experience with this strain under SOG and if so what should i expect as far as yeild is concerned (a ballpark figure)? Also i will not be topping or LST due to space requirements. Any information would put me at ease being this is my first in a while and i have an extremely high investment already.

flip your plants at no more than 12" Thats still big to flip in a hydro grow as your 400watt can handle to much height.
I always expect an ounce or more a plant or your doing something wrong. UNLESS you have 50 or more plants per 1000watts

thanks alot for the info but only 30 plants and 950 watts of light but keep in mind that there is 8 sq ft of space not being used for growing, but simply for my mobility through the garden, im gonna post some pics and probably do a journal. also what do you think of emergency camping blankets. i learned of them in a high times back in 2005

So how big do you plan on vegging? 30 plants in 8ft sq is over 4 plants every sf. I would veg for a week max if i was you. Any idea what strain you will grow?

vegging 30 plants to 12" in a 36 sq ft space and flowering under 2 400 watt hps and 1 150 w hps with 6 4ft dual 50w flourescent tubes hung along the walls of the room. its a 9x4x6 1/2 ft tall space im growing "kolossus" from sannies seeds

You have a nice set-up. Don't veg them too much. 6-8" is what you want. You'll get too much undergrowth (popcorn) and the kind of trim work that goes far past the point of diminishing returns. They will easily grow to 3-3 1/2 feet from 6-8" at flip time (the time you initiate 12/12 light cycle). You don't want your bud close to the lights. Also, forget about anything you ever read in High Times. You could probably even start 12/12 just from a few days of veg. Straight into the flowering room from the time it's rooted is what you really want if you plan on cramming them close together. You'll kick yourself later if the canopy is in the hot spot zone ( area directly under the lights) and your tops are crispy. It also wouldn't hurt to LST them if the strain is known to be stretchy.
