Hi guys could anyone recommend a good soil mix or even just a brand of soil. Ive done a bit of research and see Miracle Grow mentioned a lot and then i see a lot of people knocking it off. Would like to hear some opinions. Also on a budget if it makes any difference

i use miracle grow.. i think im gonna mix it with 50/50 perlite and see how it goes. if you dont water alot then its fine but if you water alot your plants will suffer. if i decide not to mix it, i heard fox farm happy frog, 50/50 with ocean forest is a good mix, i suggest adding some perlite in there as well

depends what you have available, are you going to b and q or walmart. do you have a grow shop near you. i have used bio grow all mix and canna terra professional. both get the job done. dont skimp on the price of a good mix, itll more than pay for itself!

I use miracle grow soil also. I use fish emulsion when watering. Kelloggs brand works too.

you will need nutes with bio soil, i use bio grow for veg, biobloom for flower and then i also use top max in flower. it would not hurt to use algamic aswell for the trace elements.

never used super soil, works with canna just as good, just remember to add some perlite to your soil to help with drainage. some people add vermiculite aswell but not myself as it retains water which kind of defeats the purpose of adding perlite.

i mix fox farm ocean forest and roots organic soil and havent had any problems other than they are both extremely rich in nutrients so they run hot for small plants

mix your choice of soil with perlite and vermiculite,7 parts soil,2 parts perlite,1 part vermiculite...

and do not pack or pat down soil in ur pots,it will be harder for roots and water to go through it.maybe even oxygen

the soil will dense itself when watered

peat, perlite, and rabbit shit. 2:1:1
10$ for a mountain of it. add water, and some foliar feeds, and you will be right there with the people who spend 25$ a bag. i truly believe that.
