soil mix

Ok first i will apologize because i know this question has been asked but, i couldnt find it. Im using miracle grow blend seed starting mix. I know its not good but i am wondering if its bad or good its 0.05-0.01-0.05 i have no idea wat these numbers mean but can i keep my plants in this soil for about 2 weeks? And if you can tell me a good soil to grow in from lowes also im using 2flourescent bulbs 12 in long is this ok im just doing this as personal. Will i be ok through all cycles.

how many plants you have?you need more light and get the the right color temp for veg you want 5000 to 6500k for flower you want 2700 to 3000k . there are many people that grow with florescence or cfl's but you need a few per plant.you want about 3000 lumens per square foot.
i grow in perlite from walmart for $7 . walmart has a 2 gallon square plastic mop bucket for $2 that is good for a 3ft plant.just put a pen sized hole in it 2 inches from the bottom see my pics..its called a hempy bucket.its a lot easier then growing in soil and gives you a hydro yield.

After looking at the bulbs they are 18in 4200k ROHS. 15watt,120v,60hz.i have 4 plants still seedlings 1week old. This light tjen im guessing will do fine? I keep them bout 1-4 inches from the bulbs when the plants sprout i will probably move to 3 plants.

are you going to try the hempy bucket?

that light will be good for a few weeks but
you need more and when you start to bud you will need even more..for veg at lowes they have this 4 pack for $8 or so, get this and 2 splitters (they let you put 2 bulbs into 1 light socket there about $2 each) added to your light this will be good till you flower.then you can keep the 18inch light you have and add some better color temp cfl's.lowes has big 300w 3000k cfl's for $16 i would get 4 and replace the first 4 you got with them.

no nutes for 3 weeks or so then start with about 200ppm every other water.

the light you have is 2 15w 18inch floro's? thats not very much light,it may look bright to you but its the lumens and the color that matters to the plant.i think you may want to ditch that light after you get something to replace it.

You can grow good weed in the MG seed starting mix. I just went from seed to harvest with it. Something good you can get at Lowe's is Kellogg Patio Plus, which is what my current grow is going to be in once my clones are ready to transplant.

Alright so i been doing some looking around im going with tomatoe local mix organic soil earthworm castings and some dolomite. Fert im not 100%on aswell as i have never mixed it. The light thing is next my plants arent growing fast imma go get those cfls you told me about.
