ok buddie u are getting nurtient lock from the soil ph little to low ...............for soil keep it 6.5 6.0

i would incease the ph in some distilled water flush the soil and give them 3 5 days and start back on half nurts and pour in water a base 7.0 ph that should hit your 6.0 6.5 range

This is it! I had similar problem when I fed my plant for the first time.

I could be wrong but when I researched my problem I read that increasing PH of the water will not increase PH of soil (again I am a novice so this is word of mouth not personal exp.). If you are feeding with FF Trio, follow the directions you need 20% run off to clear salts to make sure soil PH stays optimum.

If you are not using ca-mg with your distilled water you should start because there is none in distilled and calcium is important to buffer your nutes so that the ph does not swing as intensely. Use a ppm pen and cal mag to bring your distilled water or RO water to around 140ppm and then add your nutrients, if you are using organic nutes that are normally rather acidic you should end up with a buffered end solution around 5.4 with enough micro activity it will be buffered further in the soil to the golden soil zone of 6.5. :) and if you are using organic soil i highly suggest using a organic nutes because without it your soil won't have the capability to buffer so you will have to resort to chemical ph + and -
Hope that helps!

Man..some of ya'll act like this is science or something, it's just not that hard :cuss: remember KISS, no not the band, Keep It Simple Stupid...get some tap water, let it set for 24 hours to evaperate the chlorine and water, or mix your nutes and feed, soil is the easiest medium to grow in, it's really forgiving...if you notice any discoloration in the leaves or stems then check your PH and adjust (I'm lucky my tap water is a perfect 6.6) anywhere from 6.5 to 7.0 is fine and don't over water/feed and g/l

Top dress with some dolomitic lime, 1 tablespoon per gallon will be fine for an established soil. FFOF is peat based and it tends to get more acidic with time. There is supposedly some oyster shell in the mix to help with pH but it might not get your through a full grow so adding lime should help.
