Is it ok to buy soil that has nutes in it? I bought this soil and it says "feeds for 9 months". Is that ok because someone recently told me not to buy the soil that says it feeds for however many months???
it can be dangerous.
A friend of mine starts his seedlings in normal potting soil, and then transplants into miracle grow without problems.
It does seem to be too much for most seedlings to handle though, and they suffer severe nute burn.
My seedling poked his head of of the soil though. She looks fine. Just like a normal seedling. Will it get nute burn later on in the grow or will I start to see signs of nute burn here in a couple days?
Its better if you feed..
1) you learn.......
2)if you need to you can add food...you can't remove it easily in case of burn/trouble..
Same for moisture control...if you are a bit experienced you can if you know symptoms.. your choice.. Luck.
So should I flush my soil that im gonna transplant my seedling to, to get all the nute out or no. Because i have a full thing of nute for ve, flower, and whatnot?
I doubt that will work..its usually solid bits, time release..just be careful..don't go crazy adding stuff..it may work great for you (please please..LOL) if not you can put in reg. soil and you learned for next time...
it all depends on what ferts are in the soil. i wouldnt use miricle grow it's real chemmy, but osmocote is pretty kind and usually wont burn any thing cuz it's time release.
