will feeding nutes, example lets say tomato food, will that not raise ph. all this ph stuff is over my head i admit, i mean if it does raise it, where does it go then
no , you dont need to worry about ph at all , the mix will buffer it out. tomato food an pot food is the same.

(lets say it does raise it, the mix will bring it back down in a matter of a few hours or less.)

let me try to say this right. soil, coco, and peat all have their own ph and you can not alter that in a short amount of time. just like wet says , you can not change the ph of your water/food an expect it to change the soils ph.

there is absolutly no reason to use any meters with your grow. just dump the food/water in an know your ph is gonna stay whatever it already is.

did you get them outta the strait peat yet ?

yeah i moved them into new mix, this time i used 50% potting soil from a fresh bag i found. 25% vermiculite 25% peat moss, and blodd fish and bone mixed through. all and all i can say i seen HUGE improvements and didnt notice any real stunting from moving them
