Soil still good? Brown mold in soil?

I posted in organics, but probably the wrong place...

I am on day 45 for my 3 autoflowers and my water Only grow, and they are needing some nutes because of a cal deficiency, and maybe others. They are doing good, but not great. Around the 30 day mark they started showing deficiencies. I don't remember the brand, but I had a mix of some organic soil, Kellogg's Patio Plus, and perlite. It's been sitting for about 50 days in a sealed tote in my garage and has some brown mold. I read it was ok. Would this be ok to add some diatomaceous earth and then use as a top dressing for my plants to top off the soil and provide nutes?

Not sure of your locale. Looks like a moss growth we get here during wet springs. Also i've been taught, do not know, to till fungus into my soil. In my case compost/ base soil. The beneficial will eat them. Old organic commercial farmers. Yet to fail. Just a thought. Keep it natural.

I'm in the middle of nowhere desert, But this is in my garage and is very wet inside the container. Doesnt smell bad which is why I figured its probably because the organic soil and I can use it. I'm around day 45 now for my autos I kist dont want to kill them if I put this as top dressing!

that mold was probably white when it started growing and turned brown after. I find the same stuff in my soil bags if theyre exposed to light. i've had no problems using it after mixing it in
