Soil still wet after 10 days

I bought a clone from one of the clubs around here and have it growing in my window. When I bought the soil I was hoping to mix some sand or perlite in, but the store was out of anything smaller than a 50 lb bag, so I decided to just use the potting soil they had there.

I watered it pretty heavily when I first planted it, enough that there was a good bit of water draining out the bottom. Now its 10 days later and I haven't watered it since, but the soil is still pretty wet. I'm worried that my soil might be too dense and doesn't allow enough drainage.

Do you think it's a problem? Should I dig it up, mix some sand or something into the soil and replant it?

Sounds like you have a problem with the soil, unless you have a little plant in a huge pot.

o its a window grow thats y..where do u live? probably not hot enough and the suns rays arnt strong enough to dry out ur pot
Yeah that would make sense. I'm in San Francisco so its a little chilly right now. The plant seems pretty healthy, slowly growing, so I don't think the cold or the wet soil is too bad for it.
I guess I'll just have to minimize waterings so as to not drown the plant.
