soil - the easyist and most forgiving. Good soil and good light and all you have to do is water a little and wait and wait and wait.
Hydro - you controll the nutrients and plant can absorb much faster so you wait less
Aero - controll the nutrients, also provide an oxygenated wet environment for the roots so you wait even less. note: this is very unforgiving and you can lose everything quickly. no soil or substrate around roots is the key advantage and also the detriment to the beginner.
whoops, sorry! total newb here & I didnt want to start a thread asking such a basic question.
Yeah I was looking for a guide to growing in soil, preferably with recomendations for the best soil mix's & how often to water etc. Problem is everytime I come on here to look for this guide I find 50 other threads I need to read!
Sorry for invading your thread dude, good luck with your growing
Just like the other dude said. I use aero because I control everything that's why I use it. Also the speed I'm finished in 40 something days. I use drain to waste so I set my res ph it and let it go down the drain and do it again. Simplicity at it's finest. But you can fuck shit up fast and loose your entire crop.
