I'm watering with nutes every second water through the veg and bloom periods, i'm using All-Mix and this also has nutes in with original soil and i find best to only use nutes every second water,
Check my grow out for the results dude
Happy Growing

That's what I normally do. I feed the nutes at a reduced strength and an increased frequency. The plants get the same amount of nutes over the same time period - they just get fed almost every watering.

I have not been able to find any evidence that this is detrimental. Logically, it is quite to the contrary as it elimenates the "highs" and "lows" of an irregular diet.

seems like sound advice,i like this idea, how often would the clean water be given ?

Alot of people say you dont need to feed nutes during the first few weeks, cause the soil you are using (new bag soil, hopefully) is full of nutrients, so fertilizers aren't needed.. Well, I use em all the way through, and I get a little bit of yellowing, here and there, but its never anything bad, like outright BURN, or damage to the plants, but it always goes away and my plants end up doing fine, growing around 1 inch a day during veg. I use nutes all the way through from day one on. I fill up a 40 gallon reservoir and use a pump attached to hose that I use to water the plants in my grow room, and I measure it by timing the amount I let the water run. 30 seconds of water is about half of a pitcher, so I alternate as the get bigger, starting at 10 secs, and going up to 30-45 secs when they reach 48 inches during flower. Now, the question I have is this.. I was going to start my own watering thread but I figured Id ask here... When I water my lawn I have it set to come on a couple times a night for 7 minutes each time. Ive read that instead of constant watering, it's better to water in short intervals. So, Ive been watering my plants alot less, because I use to notice alot of the water would overflow and just leak out the bottom of my pots when I got towards the end of my cycles and I was using more water. Well, I wondered if it would be better to water like that in my grow room, or if its better to water all at once, then just wait until they need it again, soil starts to look dry, etc. So, instead of watering a plant with a half to 3/4 of a pitcher and having half of it leak out the bottom, filling it with a quarter pitcher, then going back in 6-10 hours and filling it up with some more water. I think they will drink more if the get it intervals like that, and less nutrients will get wasted (that shit is expensive!!)... Any feedback please?

Just whenever you think they need a little extra "Skyjuice"! When my plants are in "small" pots (about 6" or less), I like to water/feed them every Tuesday, and then again on Friday or Saturday. So - it works for me to have them on a schedual - but play it loose! I live in a pretty hot and dry area of Southern Califonia and sometimes they want an "extra" drink. So whenever they get a "between meal snack", it's just plain water - and usually just a little.

HedgeHunter.... Frequent feedings / waterings will work against you in soil growing. If the plants in your Avatar are your current crop - repot them to larger pots as soon as possible. Now, back to the weakly / weekly thing :
.
If you feed Mary frequently, she will not spread out her roots very far - since food and water are being dropped in, every few days. Smaller rootball, smaller plant, smaller yield.
.
Instead, water her one week (once - a nice heavy soaking), then leave her alone. The next week, feed her a regular strength (dose) of nutes mixed in the same volume of water. If you have a gallon of soil in your pot, give her a quart of your fertilizer mixed up. If you have 3 gallons of soil, give her two quarts. Then leave her alone.
.
The next watering, don't water from the top - instead set your pots in a pan deep enough to hold one inch of water. Let them sit for 15 mintues, then remove them. That way your soil will draw in the water it needs from the bottom. This helps roots to grow downward.
.
At the next feeding, pour your fertilizer mix around the outside edge of the pot from the top. This ensures Mary reaches outward for her food. Now, doing this will slow growth just slightly in the begining - but the payoff comes later. The larger rootball you will develop will equal larger buds later. So, in my book - it's completely worth it.
.
So, water one week and fertilize the next in rotation.
.
Hope this helps..

HedgeHunter.... Those plants look very healthy - nice tight node spacing.
.
Yes, I would transplant them into larger containers so they can spread out their roots. Bigger rootballs equal bigger yields in the end.
.
Keep up the good work.....
