Starting my first grow soon wanted some advice on happy frog or light warrior which is the better option and what kind of soil do I use later in veg and flower ?
I've sprouted in straight oceans forest just fine, allegedly some bags are a little hotter than others. Happy frog has beneficial bacteria and a lower, safer, more forgiving amount of nutrients.Idk those brands except on paper but regardless it is best to start in light soil like seedling compost or light mix then move up to the more rich grow soil mixes as they can be hot for seedlings bud
start to finish all the way through flower or should I switch to ocean forest with some worm castings ?You can happy frog from start to finish. Unsure about light warrior.
You can leave room inside the pot to top dress with ocean forest after a few weeks, and every couple weeks thereafter.start to finish all the way through flower or should I switch to ocean forest with some worm castings ?
What does top dress mean? Just put some on top?You can leave room inside the pot to top dress with ocean forest after a few weeks, and every couple weeks thereafter.
Yea. Add a layer about 2” on top. Over time the soil level will go down when watering giving you the ability to add more with no issues. What does top dress mean? Just put some on top?
Thank you man your the shitYea. Add a layer about 2” on top. Over time the soil level will go down when watering giving you the ability to add more with no issues.
I definitely recommend worm castings all the way through. I topdress ewc with the dry amendments every 2 weeks and use compost tea on the weeks in between (I do use fish shit as a substitute when I’m lazy). Your plants will thank you. I usually have worms in my pots when I break up the rootballs.start to finish all the way through flower or should I switch to ocean forest with some worm castings ?
