I read back in the day in one of those closet cultivator books that you can use one ounce of urine to one gallon of water. Its supposed to be high in nitrogen. Good for the grow cycle atleast.


True story: I was prolly about 18 and I told my buddy that I read that I could use piss for fertilizer for my plants. So we are sitting around the house drinking and next thing I hear running water. I walk in the other room and come to find out this dude is pissing in my reservor. I was so pissed off at him. He was just trying to help so I let him make it. lol.

I'm shuddering thinking about someone measuring out 1 ounce of their pee!

The confusion is because of urea, a form of soluble nitrogen that comes from urine, not human urine though. I guess that human urine has some nitrogen, but it is not clean.

I'll stick to formulas that use ammonia nitrogen, and nitrate nitrogen, as these are the pH buffers that are so important to maintaining a res.

someone once told me i could pour simple green on my plants and they would love it?...i think its high in nitrogen or something?

so i guess nitrogen is good. in any large quantities possible or what?

No, always read the lable, then halve it. Too much nitrogen is bad. Not enough is also bad.

I have heard of using laundry soaps in your water. Supposed to soften the dirt. I would be scared to use simple green on them though. You try it first and then maybe I will
