Soil....

I bought some miracle gro cactus palm and citrus soil to transplant my beautes into,it has sphagnum peat moss,perlite and sand etc.But there was a african violet potting mix that was good for ph control for acid plants i believe,it said between 6.0 and 6.5,would this have been a better choice???Has anybody ever used either of these???before i transplant...

Yea 6.2 is the ideal ph for soil. I would have gone with the African stuff.

do u think the one will i bought will be fine though?

My 4 plants sprouted about 8 days ago and I just bought 2 bags of that african violet potting mix and a bag of perlite. Im thinking about mixing it up then transplanting them into 8 in. pots then crossing my fingers. I read somewhere that the stuff works pretty well though. Good luck
