Soilless Medium Questions.. Commonly Used Ratios of What Mediums for handwatering?

I was wondering if i could get a little bit of information on what's the best ratio for mediums such as vermiculite/perlite, peat moss/verm/perl, etc..

i'm thinking about doing 40% peat moss, 35% Vermiculite, 25%perlite

but i was wanting suggestions as this is my first grow, and i would like to make as little mistakes as possible.

i currently have 5 seeds germinating.. so a prompt response would be even more appreciated! =)

Are you going to go with hempy buckets? If that is the case I use 3:1 perlite/vermiculite mix with good results.

I've got grow bags atm. What would you suggest for those?

50%peat moss/25%perlite/25%worm castings. Really no need for vermiculite in a peat based mix. The peat retains more than enough moisture.......

Yep, lose the vermiculite.

You will need to add dolomite lime using a peat based mix.
