soils PH level.. please give me a quick advice. thanks

so as i posted before and everyone said my babies are looking fine. they are curling on me and turning light color. i didn't know if it mattered to check the PH level when there like 10 days old. i checked the PH level just now and i was shocked when i seen the soil on 2.30. i am using miracle grow organic. i never had this problem when i used mosit control on my previous grow. anyways back to my point, i watered them a day ago and i am curious to know if i can give it organic lime to raise the PH up this early ??? should i do it now or wait another day for soil to dry up ?? thanks

is my meter bugging out or what, its reading 0.23 going up to 1.30 with the ph signal blinking on and off ? i am so confused someone please help!!

PH isn't nearly as important in a young plant's life as it establishes it's roots. You want it in the range of 5.5 - 8.0 PH when they are this young. I start dialing them in to 6.5 as my ultimate goal when I transplant them for the first time. The plants look fine, don't sweat them into an early grave. Teach yourself to observe, but intefere little. I doubt your soil is at 2.0 I've yet to run into anything that low. That is lower than pure vinegar, and therefore doubtful.

MG/OC comes with lime added, so do not add any. Don't do anything at this point but make sure containers have good drainage, light, and water about every 3-4 days. At this stage, I like to mist the tops/soil once or twice a day with pure water. When the lower leaves turn yellow, it's time to transplant. (Generally speaking)

It needs to be calibrated.

thanks for the quick response bro, that curl and yellow color got me worried. i got the hanna ph digital meter and i think i fucked around with the calibrating so much that i fucked the thing up. ill just get another meter. i think i might of over watered them ill cut back and water them 3-4 days. i was just scared for them to get dehydrated since there babies. there in the cups for 14 days, should i let them get a bit taller or transplant them already?
p.s i am two 400w hps how far away should i keep the hps away from them 2 feet ?

I would not be using a 400w bulb on these yet. Save your electricity the first 3-4 weeks of a seedlings life and use CFLs or flouros. If all you have is 400w, keep it 18-24" above seedlings. If you can use CFLs, get them close without touching. You won't need to transplant those until they have 4-5 nodes, or about 3 weeks. ?You'll know, the lower leaves will begin to yellow when it wants transplanting.

i put my ph meter in 4.01 solution and then 7.01 solution for i shut it off cleaned it in water and placed it in my soil and its reading 083 wtf is that......

yeah i got a a bunch of 100w cfls underneath them. ill just let em get tall in these cups for another 2 weeks or so..

man my seedlings are turning yellow as you see in the second picture and its getting me worried. i am reading reviews about the MG organic soil and everyone has their own opinion. should i stick to this organic soil or change it to MG moist control. i've had a very good veg grow using moist control. could it be maybe i have to many cfls on top of the plants ? i have the cfls this far away in the picture below.

its not as simple as that, you need to dip it in the 4.01 and then turn the little screw on the left (or right, read the manual, check the website, they'll have full info), then do the same with the 7.01 solution and opposite screw, Then you can use it to measure your pH
