Fundamentally this is where and why you fall short on appreciating this product, you don't believe what they are saying.

I suppose you're right, this technology has decades before it should even be thought of again. Oddly, Google seems to disagree.

Not sure what critical thinking has anything to do with advancing technology as you put it, only to be condescending.

This video, likely contrived by a petroleum lobbyist, is a condescending dismissal on an idea that could potentially work.

He was comparing a pogo-stick going to the moon for god sakes. Mostly everything he said is unfounded. Where he had some reasonable arguments was in the LED lighting. But that's not the heart of this idea.

He had some good points but he was not fair nor objective, first gen tech is always grossly inefficient etc...... If you look at where roads, cars and electricity began it gives you the road map of where new tech begins, but doesn't stay. Governments are for investing for the benefit of the people, not the corporations that we have allowed to co-opt them. The question is how to take back our Govt. so we can flex money to fund this vs corporate welfare.

Enough of companies wresting every last dime out of failing infrastructure at the expense of the planet, sigh.
