Solar Rips: who else loves em?!

I'm wondering if I could use my glasses instead of a magnifying glass... I've got a good sun angle right now but no magnifying glass...

Pretty fuckin' blind, actually. I have to have the thin lenses or else I have coke-bottle glasses... and even the special thin lenses are thick. Didn't work, though.

It might work then. I'll tell you a little secret the next time you go in for an exam. Do not walk in with your glasses. Make them start from the beginning. If not they will start from your prescription. My wife also had "coke" glasses and now goes a 1/2 step lower each time she is checked. Eyes are muscles and can be trained BOTH ways. She has a sister who had better vision than my wife's but now it is reversed. You can strengthen your eyes, but not the way the Optometrists do the exams (foe expediency).

Ive been solar riping for over 30 years and didnt even know anyone else did it? It seems to kick my herb to the next level of potency. I think the higher heat burns more of the resin. You can solar rip indoors through a window just not quite as nice. I find a 4" or larger glass magnifyer(with no little magnify thingy on it) works the best. With solar ripping "The Wind Is Your Friend" as it helps get the herb to light. Nice thread!

I've found that the 4 inch ones with the little magnifying thing work awesome when you flip them over to the opposite side. it burns way hotter.

but yeah, I totally forgot about this thread for a while.

I've been camping many places this summer, and I bring my magnifying glass with me every camping/hiking trip ;).

lol in prison we used this dudes sunglasses to light our ciggs when we were on the 4 yard in donavan ...san diego ...cause ther was no lighters ther and only way we got our tobacco cause we would trade books of stamps to the barber that was from anotehr yard that allowed commisarry and so we had


solar lit ciggs in prison .....prlly some joints lit that way too

i need sunshine i am really kinda like a shut in ..... but soon i will be goin back home to sunny san diego ....lol think dewey from round that area ......omgoodness the beach and they women .....dam i miss home

I'm back on the sauce, so it's a solar rip for me today. It's been so sunny here I think I could do it with some saran wrap...:wink:

i was sooo excited to get in some wake n bake solar tokes this morning and of course it's been overcast all fucking day...2morrow should be good....and does anybody else solar rip hash?? you should try it, really awesome!! :bigjoint:
