After a fair bit of reading and advice, i got 2 200w (160~) solarflare's for my 2x4x5 tent. It's going to be a flower room eventually w/ a 2x2 housing a T5 HO 4 bulb 20k veg lamp. 5gal black buckets dwc w/ 2 airstones and 6" pot lids. Recirculating to be done around flowring for my 4 ssh buckets w/ a northern blue light and a chocholope solo.
My question is this, when they were seedlings i used the flourescent up close. I had 2 seedlings not germinate, so 2 got restarted, now all look healthy and happy. The 2 largest seedligns (n blue light and a ssh) have been under the LED on the side for nearly a week now, but i've kept the T5 on the other side about 4-5" up over the 4 little ones. The two other seedlings that didn't repop have been slow to root and haven't shown a lot up top besides small first/second but just hit the waterline today with roots so they should start. The other 2 newbies probably need a bit.
I have my 2x2 tent and the other solarflare now, initially they were coming later. Should i veg this initial grow with the two solar flares or keep running this T5 until flowering. I plan to move the smaller plant(s) to the 2x2 and then back into the flower tent once they finish vegging, but i'm unsure what the 'best' light to use is right now, and if all 3 would be a waste.
Here are some pics, the seeds were started 9/12 and midnight, 24 hour light with jsut flouro tek 4 first, then the ones that rooted fast i rotated to the solarflare side at 1 week. 2 seeds didn't germinate so, I planted a chocolope and one more ssh, 4 days in on 9/16. The ssh#2 barely has a second leaf yet but massive root system, it started sideways out the netpt but not it's coming out everywhere so i expect it to explode this week.
