Soldering COBS

Basic question

i was always told to solder my connections when working with electronics just for the better connection and loss of power at the connection.

As i creep on the post i see a lot of the holders for the cobs and the quick connects to the cobs instead of soldering directly to them. Is there any noticeable loss of power that would reduce efficiency to a point we would care about when not soldering?

I've always soldered to veros. I see no point to the connectors other than not wanting to get tin on the vero's pads.

It's just so easy to do... 5 seconds on each pad at the proper temperature is all it takes for the pads to take a tin.

I solder all my LEDs as well, use a Weller Medium duty iron. I am still improving my skills however lol
