16 Cobs per 4x4 for max efficiency I believe is what most are doing
then that's wayyy worse.16 Cobs per 4x4 for max efficiency I believe is what most are doing
Oh, FUCK NO. MH lamps belong on the scrap heap of history. Use CMH lights with square wave ballasts instead, as they're far more efficient and the spectrum emitted is better, too. As a bonus, CMH lamps last a lot longer than MH as well.Lack of funds mostly. All of my stuff is super cheap but works well together. It's not like I originally designed it this way. Everything was purchased over several years. I can't afford an array of COBs, but I can probably afford one or two.
It sounds like I might be better off sparking another 400w MH, bringing total HID up to 1,400 watts.
Lulz at COB LED being unsuitable for commercial use.then that's wayyy worse.
cobs is not a good "warehouse" lighting I guess. you could cover every inch with DE 1100's for a faction of what it would cost to do cobs.
there is spydr, and vyprx, and stuff would be a better option.
you're not gonna cover a room that size with units like that.Cxa 3070 the same as cxb??? Why is the maximizer at Johnson lights so much more expensive? Furthermore all the other light site had poor interface or market price for what it is?? I understand pricing in the cost of labor but holy shit
just price wise, Id love to see a 100x100 light up by 3590'sLulz at COB LED being unsuitable for commercial use.
Do you have any data to back up that claim or did you just pull it out of the pot forum wind machine and take it for granted?
I'm running 144 sq ft lit exclusively by CXB3590.id consider CMH's in the mix, with either led or DE's
I think all CMH, would not get the weight.
whats the biggest cbx3590 room we know of? 10x10 right?
and how many panels and cobs?I'm running 144 sq ft lit exclusively by CXB3590.
24 modules, each of which consists of four CXB3590 3500K CD BIN 72V chips driven by a Meanwell HLG-185H - C700B. Each module is responsible for lighting 6 sq ft.and how many panels and cobs?
I'm just getting by with what I've got. This one is getting rewired.Oh, FUCK NO. MH lamps belong on the scrap heap of history.
