You plant will be fine...

You should transplant her into a 3 gallon container and thorougly water her.. using 1 gallon of water... If you have a bigger container our plant can go much longer with out water..

she was looking FREAKING great!!

cheers

She'll be right matey!

Just keep those bugs off and it'll be fine.

Try some Pyrethrin spay, it may be a little nasty but as long as you discontinue use a couple o weeks before you harvest it will be fine.

On my first grow as a young teenager I used to use all the hardcore ferts and sprays, and would smoke it straight from the tree.

I turned out allright; or so my Mum says!

I'd go through all the dramas you may have outdoors b4 you start indoors. A lot of the guys here make it look easy but you should learn more about the plant before you go indoor.

Maybe if you're lucky it'll be a bitch and you can start with cloning and then move your clones indoors.

Keep ya head up son!

O, and get some perlite in that mix and a bit bigger pot if you can't be there to water her every day or so. The Perlite holds the water nicely and allows air into the root system.
Try to dodge water crystals, I've heard they can put a nasty taste through the plant.

Yo guys.

Well, I'm back and so is my plant. It's a month since the last pics, so take a lookie.

From a tiny seedling this is the 2 month mark. She's been growing hard in soil for 2 months now. You can see in the previous post I forgot to water her on a hot day and nearly killed it. Well things seem to be doing ok now :D

Here is one to get the sense of height

So I am pretty pleased, it recovered really well. I must be doing all the right things. I am guessing I'll be smoking sweet homegrown a month from now, or a little more. So 3 months really, just like all the guides said.

Here's a few questions.

1) Whitefly is still a bitch. I spray it with natural soap but they never seem to really go away. I'll try some pyrethruim next, good idea?

2) Is it too early to tell if it's female or male still? I've been looking for the telltale signs but I still can't see anything that looks like the photos.

3) Do you agree with me that it's about a month away from maturity? Would you be putting it into a blooming cycle earlier? Can't I just leave it to get as big as it can first?

4) Most of the leaves (the new ones) look nice and healthy like this:

But a fair few look like this:

See how the end is sorted chewed? Is that the whitefly? I'm guessing so. It doesn't seem to be doing to much damage to the plant as long as I keep her watered and healthy, it almost seems like it's growing faster than the fly can eat it.

Anyways, thanks for any help and it's been a fun journey so far!

p.s. oh yeah. I took your advice Marius and decided to finish this plant first before I brough it indoors. Learn more first and all that :D

eventhough u had such harsh sun you should keep it up outside. i thought your grow was very interesting. plus your plant is very big since it hasent shown its sex yet. is their any outside light near your plants at night. remember that bugs are attracted to lights

Can anyone give me some opinions on how my plant is going?

It's my first grow so I don't know if I'm doing good or not.

Thanks :D
