I've read that FoxFarm is one of the best, but again, I'm new so I don't want to believe everything I read online.Fox farm soil or Black Gold, def not ProMix or any Miracle Grow products.

I like to recommend the RAW brand bloom microbes and use it in veg and bloom not much of a difference between the two and no need to buy two products..and use just a little bit like 1/4tsp per gal once a week till the end of week 7 flower.I'll take that into consideration. I didn't think to slow the grow process with the lighting. I can definitely switch the light cycle as well to a 18/6.
Are there any microbe products you'd recommend?
I'm glad to hear that soil is forgiving. I'll make the proper moves in the future.Soil is forgiving, Fox farm soils have buffers in them. Just Ph the water u use, forget the rest of the horseshit u hear. PPM runoff measurements are for Coco Coir users, hydro growers
Awesome! I will look into purchasing the product. You just need to know that you have some microbes in there working for you and you dont need to use al lot and waste it.
fox farm sucks its basically wood mulchI've read that FoxFarm is one of the best, but again, I'm new so I don't want to believe everything I read online.
Thank you! That makes a lot of sense actually. I'll make sure that I use a better process with my future plants. I'll make the proper changes to maximize the quality of the plant!I also mix Happy Frog + Ocean Harvest soils, adding some extra perlite and worm castings, use fabric pots for better aeration. But on your FIRST indoor grow its smart to remember LESS IS MORE. Most newbies overwater and overfeed. In FF soils add NOTHING but pH'd water the first 3 weeks, then use HALF the recommended dosage till MID flower. Then u can use the rec dose if u want.
*follow this advice, u will thank me later
Sooo u don't like fox farm? Hahahafox farm sucks its basically wood mulch
ph pro mix or something like that is better. or mix the two together.
fox farm sucks
High Times recommends FF soils still......I used Black Gold soil on my outdoor grows, nothin but FF inside.Thank you! That makes a lot of sense actually. I'll make sure that I use a better process with my future plants. I'll make the proper changes to maximize the quality of the plant!
High times is smoking too much of their own shit.High Times recommends FF soils still......I used Black Gold soil on my outdoor grows, nothin but FF inside.
You could plant in another soil and compare for yourself.
Got 12.5 dry zips my first indoor run......Why would I change? 2nd indoor run a bit more. I don't grow to sell, just head stash.High times is smoking too much of their own shit.
kewl but none of that happened because you used ffof sucky suck suck soil though. everything else you did had that impact on your yeildsGot 12.5 dry zips my first indoor run......Why would I change? 2nd indoor run a bit more. I don't grow to sell, just head stash.
It's not crazy I don't know what you mean. For clones they get half strength, 200 ppm calmag for clones, 400 for adultsuhhh you state 400-600 for clones and I know you mean small plants but then you say 400 ppms of cal mag which is bat shit crazy
BlueLab PPM pen is the best on the market.Any brand of PPM Meter you'd recommend?
Ive used fox farms its realy not the best for soil plus miracle grow is hot as is so you probably only want to feed it occasionally and just use ph waterI keep the grow tent around 70-73°F; I am using a FoxFarm Liquid Plant Food mix (2tbs/gl); watering is when the dirt starts to dry; I currently have her in a 5gl PVC bucket; I have her on a 24hr light cycle with a 600watt equivalent LED grow light.
One of my issues (which I am overly aware of) was my choice in soil. I'm embarrassed to admit that I used a Miracle Grow mixture (I got excited and bought the soil without doing research). I have since learned that that could cause issues!
Fox farm is okay it's not the best.Ive used fox farms its realy not the best for soil plus miracle grow is hot as is so you probably only want to feed it occasionally and just use ph water
Its too much cal mag at those numbersIt's not crazy I don't know what you mean. For clones they get half strength, 200 ppm calmag for clones, 400 for adults

Bro I literally posted the feeding chart that's what I go by. For adult plants yes thats 800 ppm of Ionic grow, 400 ppm calmag for a total of 1200 ppm total. For freshly transplanted clones use half or quarter strength that's what I said I can't make it any more simpler than that. Look at the feeding chart. Its too much cal mag at those numbers
You stated 800 ppms for adults so your saying that for a flowering plant your going to give half of your ppms in the form of cal mag? Sounds crazy to me.
You are just joking around right? No one uses that many bottles anymore. All you really need is Ionic Grow, Ionic Bloom, Ionic Pk boost, CalMag, Amino Acids, and Fossil Fuels for the entire grow cycle. Nitrozyme and bloom stimulator help too. And Silicate if you need stress buffering.
If you say so I'm not sure how much experience you have in an industrial operation. You are just joking around right? No one uses that many bottles anymore.
There was a time in my life i welded for United, if thats what you mean?I'm not sure how much experience you have in an industrial operation.
