Use turpentine/engine cleaner/petrol/white spirit/pig meat/fridge meat/vinegar/ mixed up, use it as a scent in tiny amounts near your site. Leave tiny cups of it to evaporate all summer near your weed to deter deer. Animals avoid it.
Use invisible nylon fishing wire at deer-neck height to cordon off plant zone. The deer walks there, gets a tug on his neck, freaks out, runs away.
stuff your shirt and sweater in the front of your pants before you step out of a suspicious bush onto a path, and then pull out the stuff from your pants on the path, it looks like you had a wee.
The most suspicious type of behaviour is 180 degrees head turns, looking behind you. Use a phone glass / a mirror if you have to. (I actually look at the tree tops when I step in to strategic side-paths leading to plants... if ever someone sees me )
Keep your head unmoving and aimed towards farmer territories and only move your eyes, to check for farmers.
Get efficient, oil sealed, durable slug pellets and use 20-30 pellets around each plant when it's rainy. treat slug pellets with oil to make them water repellant.
Use 1l plastic bottles for pots, because they are deep for roots, and take up half the space of normal plant pots.
Mix at least 1 hand of strong fertilizer for 10l of dug-out soil at your site prior to planting.
keep a bird book in the car for display to people walking past and get bird club stickers.
Look for giant nature reserves with big accessible islands with fallen trees, if you live in hot climates... totally barren
Robogrow using 24v (12v is a bit hot) the heaviest duty seaflo pump for 85 dollars, a solar panel n battery. water pump vibrations can actually snap solid copper wire, get flexible wire. Get a solar controller with a solar timer and start watering 1 h every day after sun down. I found a 1h relay on YT from russia, but it's probably out of stock now. The best type of irrigation line if you don't have loads of pressure is the porous tubes.
If you get 50kg of wet produce at harvest, take it out at night in smaller hay bales wrapped in very thick plastic and tied up with blue farmer hay bale string.
If you need to judge soil quality of different areas, check the height of the nettles. if the nettles and perrenials are taller than you, that's a good region.
See ya!
