some leaves have crystals some dont. is it a clue about the sex?

only about a month old with 4 branch levels and some have a smelly dusty haze is that a clue for a female or do male develop that as well?

No ya cant tell sex by smell. They will show preflowers at about 30 days and at about the 5 to 6th node.

you cant sex it by smell just gota wait your time and keep your fingers crossed - good luck!!!

males can stink good like females, turn ur lights 2 12/12 for a week or so and sex them, switch it back 2 18/6 when u see what they are, or let them dry out alot, stunting them should show preflowering

No way man why would you wanna stress your plants for? Just wait they will show you in due time. Or if you cant wait cut a clone and keep lights at 12/12 in the humidity dome, the clone will show pre flowers after a week or so. Look for 2 hairs that resemble a snakes tongue on nodes and that a female

yea usually the males will show first and have almost balls. the females sometimes look like a male if you are looking through a microscope so wait untill you can at least see the 2 white pubes(fem) or a ball or 2 on a string(male) and if the balls are on a little branch its definatly a male

yep you can take acut for 12/12 or wait but you can put them in 12/12 and switch major outdoor growers do it all the time naturally putting them outside in april or may they start to flower then revert back to veg when the sun prolongs it stay in the bright blue sky due to summer sometimes it even makes for bigger plants but they will show in due time patience is a virtue and a must for ganja growing good vibes peace

sometimes females have little tiny pole like or branch like things below the preflower as well not all the time but sometimes as well be patient dont cut to early

patients is definatly a virtue. sometimes it seems like everything is moving so slow but thats because you look at them every 30 min. be patient when waiting for preflowers, and when flowering too. ive seen too many plants cut down because the "hairs look fuckin bomb" or something along those lines.

and from my experience it is not so hard to spot the males (having longer frames and less branching) but its the hermies that could get you if your growing more than a few plants
