So i have been growing for a while outdoors and am thinking of moving indoors. I'm going to be honest majority of my crops tend not to be all for "personal use".

Lately it's been hard with increased eradication efforts by Leo. Recently bought a new house. I'd also like to add I have done my research so stealth is not going to be a problem.

Since it is not going to be all "personal" I realize that is the problem and the what ifs bother me. I have a wife and kids. I am going to do a two cycle grow and that's it (5-6 months tops). when finished everything will be moved out of house including all of the stash. What other steps can I take to protect my home and my family, besides not doing it at all?

I live in an area of the us not on normls site so I am not sure of the laws. I don't know about going down to the local law library where you have to sign in and show id to research marijuana laws.

I read on another site that to seize the home they have to prove it was bought with illegal money. Is that true? I will make it non-accessible to the children and they will not know. I would like some info on seizure guidelines.

I know a lot of people on this site say it's all for personal use, but the reality is for some it is not. I would like to speak to those individuals to get advice.

I can't help you too much with the legal aspects, but I have to comment on the local prices... $800-$1000 for an ounce!!! Holy shit!!! I can grab an OZ of the dankiest shit in the world for $350! I know the rules. No smell, no tell, no sell, but that would be for a continuous process correct?

I am going to do a 2 cycle grow and move the weight. Only thing taking place in house is the grow and after will be completely clean.

I could use some advice.

Rule #1 - Don't EVER sell out of the location that you're operating (growing) in. The first thing cops do is try to make a buy at the suspected location, and ANY amount secured instantly grants them a no-knock search and seizure warrant.

Hey thanks for the reply that is good advice. I full understand that rule and was not planning on selling out of the same location.

A question though if selling elsewhere is it a bad idea to stash at grow location without grow going on and without any equipment there at all?

I realize there are penalties for dealing and can deal with them, however I want to avoid seizure of my home or charges against wife. If the stash is in my home, but I am not dealing out of it can they seize my house and charge my wife. I already know they can seize my car.

Your thoughts?

So like already said rule #1 is never sell out of where you grow.

As for storing in the house where the grow occurred AKA your house this is not a good idea if you are truly concerned mostly about your family. If the drugs are stored in the house there is a chance that your wife could be charged if your house was raided and the drugs were found. Now that being said the only two ways they would most likely ever find you out to raid your house are:

1. The place you are selling out of gets busted and you get ratted on (assuming you are planning on selling out of someone you knows place)
2. The cops have been watching you for a very long time and know your entire business inside and out and know that you are selling weed out of a place beside your own house (and most likely know you are growing weed but they may not have figured this fact out) If this is the case you are completely fucked however your wife should be fine because they will have probably realized she was not involved.

So to stay on the side of caution I would suggest not keeping any of the weed at your own location and unless you are very bad at selling weed the cops will never really have anything on you. Even if your selling location gets raided so long as you are not there and your name is not on any of the paperwork to the location you are pretty much clean.


And on a side note really $800 for an ounce? God I would love to bring in pounds and unload them there.... I can get a lb for 5g tops and it would go down to like 4gs if i got more than one and this of some of the finest green this planet has to offer...

The small town fact with the steady flow of good bud raising questions is going to be your biggest problem honestly. More so than keeping your name off the other places paperwork.

The only way you can really keep questions like that off of yourself is having someone else push the weight for you. Although if your very careful you may be able to pull it off through using a combination of other techniques.

(Ill PM you some of those and some ideas on keeping your name of the paper work)

Truthfully having someone you 100% trust and would be willing to take the heat if something went down is really what you need because then it solves both your problems.

Finding that person you 100% trust is hard. At this point in my life it's kinda hard I may have to fly solo. Appreciate the help.

I recommend utilizing a storage unit to do just that, store your stash! At least if this gets popped you don't have to worry about losing your assets or family implication. The worst part is getting it there.

Some places have a super small 2x2' unit for about $25.00/mo. That and a pre-paid cell phone with a fake name on the account will protect you a lot.

Also, I'd tell everyone you sell to that you only have a little bit cause your guy has to divy up what he grows to a lot of heads to sell and you don't know how much longer this connect will last. That always seems to send the dumbasses away thinking that you're just another middle-man. That and charging the usual custy prices should do the trick. If you have the good shit and it's cheap, chances are your growing it, and even the morons figure that out sooner or later. And don't be tempted to sell to rtartds that you think could get popped cause they're stupid enough, even when they offer to pay top dollar or higher. It only takes one to roll on ya. Sell to people that are smart enough to not get caught, or at least smart enough not to narc when they do.

where i live in u.s, if ya get caught cult. mj, they automatically take your children, your vehicles, your home and anything else they can get their hands on, and then you get to lose your job when your employer invariably finds out. some of the stiffest penalties in the known world. my father in law used to work for the coastguard and he saw a $250,000 yacht confiscated for a roach found in an ashtray,(florida). my advice, move to a medically allowed state, get med card, and even if your caught with more than you're supposed to have , maybe penalties would'nt be as stiff.

The bud that i grow i never personally sell. I live in the UK and I give the bud to my friends Ive had for like 5+ years and i trust them and tell them that if they sell it and don't mention my name or anything then i will either give them some free bud or a cut of the money. At $800-1000 an Oz. I doubt you'll mind giving them a small cut.

So far using this way no one have ever asked me if im growing or asked me if im selling. Been going for a few years and never been busted once =]
